  • Grew up in POA. I miss Sis. Vesta and Bro. Anthony so much! Bishop Manguns death broke our hearts, But POA IS STILL GOING STRONG! It has a STRONG Marter holding it up! God Bless The Manguns and POA. I miss you so much! If you arent touched by these people and by Gods messege through them then you need alot of prayer!

  • Praise God for this Spirit filled woman of God!

  • This is a Pentecostal congregation right? Why Mrs. Mangun's hair short? I thought that one of the beliefs was that you couldn't cut your hair because it was sinful.

  • @sbkrantz Her hair actually grew out like that her whole life. You can tell she didnt cut it because its Huge abd puffy.

  • @JaquanGraves1 It looks like it's been cut... Just sayin.

  • @sbkrantz Yeah I now It kinda does but its not lol

    God Bless you :)

  • @JaquanGraves1 Her hair has been like that since I was alittle girl. Her hair is her GLORY and she is an annoited woman of God. Ive seen their family go through ups and downs and they"re still standing! I miss POA so much, my life has been the better for being a part of THE PENTECOSTALS OF ALEXANDRIA!

  • @sbkrantz She wears it in an updo! Its very long actually!

  • @sbkrantz It's in an up-do. A lot of older women from my church have the same hair style. It's not cut. Some women do have naturally short hair, though.

  • praise the LORD for some good old fashion pentacostal singing and the presence of the LORD; being felt even on youtube. GOD BLESS

  • Holiness is not black or white....It just pure HOLINESS! And it is soooo beautiful!

  • Since when were women given the right to lead in worship? The last time I checked, we as women were never given that right.

  • @sbkrantz Oh Honey you're in the wrong religion then. Pentecostal women are marters of God and my own mother is a Minister along with my Father. There's nothing more wonderful than a Holy annointed woman of God teaching, preaching and singing her praise to God! Check again.......

  • This song really touched me.

I'm 17 years old and my whole I've dealt with my family having money problems. It's very stressful due to the fact that I worry a lot. I have three sisters, one whom is married with two kids. My mom and I are the only ones who are saved and filled with the Holy Ghost.

I want my family saved. And I want things to get better. I know I just need to give my burdens to God and He will help us. He is a great, loving, merciful, AWESOME God. <3

  • @SkirtRockerr i know what you mean im a young preacher and me and my mother are the only ones in church and we have had money problems my whole life too but revival is sparking in my ministry and my family and my church and god is bringing my family in and millions more including your family and never let go of the promise in acts chapter 2 in the last days god will pour out of his spirit upon all flesh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @bropcgivens Thank you! God is surely great. It's to hear of what He is doing for you an the ministry!

  • @SkirtRockerr oh yes thank you

  • 5 dislikes...how shameful..I watch this and it bring the tears that hardly ever come from my dry eyes..

  • This is great old Pentecost Music and as a young person I say the new music is worldly and people gyrate there hips and call it gospel. I love the Old way! Churches should seek the old path!

  • LOVE THIS. Glory be to God!

  • I never heard her but i surley am proud to have heard this song what a blessing

  • praise GOD leave it there, leave it there to JESUS. .

  • Great, love it.

  • Bro.Dclake could we see more of Sis. Mangun singing? God Bless you from Puerto Rico!

  • their my church family

  • She's singing like she knows what she's singing about,...I believe she does

  • Once at a Single's Conference in Gaithersburg, Maryland, sister Mangun was laying hands on some folks. When I approached her, she said "Honey, put your hands on me!" I laid my hands on her shoulders, and I have never forgotten that feeling. That was 20 years ago, and I am miles away, but GOD takes me back there frequently. Thank you, Sister Mangun.

  • i just love old preachers they got that primitive church in the blood,i'm yung and walk in your direction JESUS.

  • Thank you, I enjoy all of our music greatly at POA but there are times that only Sis Vesta can sing that certain song.

  • What a big voice lol

  • that woman is anointed!!!

  • This woman is so annoited! Praise God! I miss hearing our elder saints!

  • I think you people tend to forget not everyone is familiar with the Pentecostal styles, I don't know what the comment was, but I know I wanted to hide under the bench because I thought you were a real freaks, looking the way you do, the way you come up on people to pray for them. I have much respect for God and church, but people who have been used to this all of your lives it's a normal thing, but those who have never seen or stepped foot in, it's a world of strange things hope that helps.

  • I am a pentecostal and defend the faith, earnestly. But friend of mine, you are right. This is what our churches lack, the ability to pray for someone in such a casual manner that all they feel is the love of Christ. Not spit in their face, or the bad breath of those praying around them. Just the love of Christ.

  • I don't think this funny at all. I personally desire a great move of God, All the Jesus Name people know what I am saying. In this the closing age people had best turn the Christ now. The worldly can't know what is happening here. PS. Pray for us when you pray, that we can obey Christ when his time is right, many are going to be lost.

  • she's a great lady and she lives for God

I know I grew up with G.A. and Vesta Mangun until I was 18 years old and I thank God for Them

  • good stuff

  • I think this is HILARIOUS.

  • why is it so "hilarious"? is it because a beautiful woman who has lived her life as Christ has directed is singing about his grace and mercy? or do you think it's "hilarious" that she is not some "poptart" singing about sex? This video is anything but "hilarious".

  • Comment removed

  • Your comment is irrelevant. I think it's funny because I didn't expect such a voice from a woman of her age and appearance. I never said a foul word about her, and you (as a Christian) have already attempted to attack me because I said I found humor out of a video on youtube. Didn't your Jesus ever mention that it isn't nice to stereotype people? How rude of you to assume that I enjoy "poptarts singing about sex". Go you!

  • consider the content of the video. you called it hilarious when its clearly very serious. maybe this person jumped to conclusions but its perfectly understandable why one would be offended by your comment, and you know it. if youd think before you speak this wouldnt have happened.

  • I also explained my logic behind it. I did think before I typed. I thought long and hard about it. That was my comment on the video. That was what I thought about it. I don't think it's fair that I'm being talked down to because I find something unexpected, like so, to be funny. If you talked to me for five minutes outside of an internet site called Youtube, you would understand that I enjoy humor.

  • you explained your logic behind it AFTER him being offended, so at the time with no explanation it was perfectly understandable why he was offended. That is the point I was trying to make, nothing more.

  • Well, there it is. Coming from someone that has never even heard of this woman before, I didn't expect what I heard. I apologize for offending anyone. But I do not apologize for defending myself when I had fingers pointed at me with ridiculous accusations. Have a wonderful day, everyone!

  • And you shouldn't apologize for defending yourself, I understand, I was just attempting to mediate.

  • @prettyvague Don't JUDGE a book by the cover..read it first!

  • This is such a great song, and a great message. The worship in this church is what worship is all about. I thank God that I can take my burdens to him and leave them there.

  • oh praise god this is great i need this and wats this song im in tears and in an annoyting stage praise god for this video and feeling

  • I think the Lord led me to see this video. I thank you for this video. Chills all over and what a blessing. Beautiful service.

  • This woman is so anointed. I love her,and I listen for such encouragement in my faith in Jesus. This is a pure heart for the Lord, and such love for the Lord.

  • Where is this church? Where can you find a church that will sing like this. I grew up in Salem Va. with this kind of music. It is so hard to find a church that will sing like this. Chad

  • This is The Pentecostals of Alexandria. They are located in Alexandria, LA. My cousin attends this church. I attend Pentecostals of The Gulf Coast in Biloxi.

Tears are a language only God understand!

  • I am happy that this video could be a blessing to you, and I pray God be a comfort to you in your time of loss. He is able to make you an overcomer.

  • @mhilldgb ---I heard a woman of God preaching (Pastor Shirley Caesar) that saying that when we have lost something that means we don't know where it is....so when a loved one goes on, we have not lost them cuz we Know where they are! AMEN!

  • if you "lost"her, that implies you don't know where she is....when in fact, you do know where she is....AMEN? Yes, AMEN!

  • @mhilldgb I lost my mother November of 07 Im only 16 so i understand God is a amazing great God!!!

  • Bless her so good Lord, she just ushered the lord into my dorm room!

  • In 1974, for one year I attended Sis Mangun's church in Alexandra, LA. I was nine years old, I remember her singing, I cried then as I did now...now I'm 45 living in New Zealand; there has been no other religious leader that has empowered me as much as Sis Mangun has in just that one year in my life, thank you Sis Mangun!

  • Beautiful, annointed singing from a mother in Zion. What a blessing! Thank you for this post.

  • In Reference to Stephen Sparks comment about women preachers. When you have done as much for God as this precious saint of God--Sister Vesta Mangun-- then you can leave your negative comments. This woman is a great assest to the work of God, and to the Pentecostal Movement. I would be glad to debate you on women preachers anytime---God Bless, Pastor Charles Drew, Lighthouse Pentecostal Church-Southport, NC.

  • thats right you preach it preacher

  • I needed this message so much tonight!

  • Sis Mangun is an encourager. I have been moved to conviction at BOTT. I have been challenged by messaged such as I MUST. thank you Sis Mangun for being a vessel the Lord can use.

  • This woman impacted my life beyond words. I have loved listening to her sing since I was a young boy. She will be a part of me until I die. She loves God and she loves me.

  • Thank God for the Pioneers of Pentecost in North America. I have sat through many of Sis. Mangun's Sunday school classes. She is awesome. She has left a lasting impression on my life.

  • God never called a woman to preach.sad to see in apostotolics not obeying the nword of god.then calling them selves apostolic.bro.stephen sparks

  • So you think Sis. Mangun singing leave it there is preaching? Or teaching a Sun. School class. The Bible instructs older ladies to teach younger ladies, and says handmadiens will prophecy, look prophecy up in the greek

  • Umm, excuse me sir. I'm not disagreeing with you. But My pastors wife was also a preacher. I go to Bro. Hambys church in bremen, Ky

  • You are the greatest.. Deanna

  • Sis Vesta Mangun is one of God's brightest lights in this world and how she and her family have blessed so many with their life, testimonies, preaching, and singing. Thank you for uploading this and hope you can share many more of her songs with us. She was awesome at UPC Conference this year, too!

  • Yeah...It's awesome that she got a PMA award too.

  • Sister Vesta Mangun /If there were ever a true woman of god it would be her she will have many many stars in her crown What a witness for the lord Jesus Christ in both spiritual and physical things

  • what a precious lady singing in the spirit and what a blessing...I sure miss hearing my mother singing in church, but I rest assured she is singing in that heavenly choir. thanks for sharing a wonderful service
