@yusuf9jf iPhone uses LED you shitfuck. LED has nothing to do with the display, it's Light Emitting Diodes, used for backlighting too make the device slimmer.
(AM)OLED doesn't need backlighting, so the device can be made very thin and the black levels are insane.
@Satfgk I do like the Retina display, LG can sure make them, but the color clarity, viewing angle, and contrast are much higher and better in the S-AMOLED and S-AMOLED+ screens. Also, if you knew anything about the technology, then you'd know it's not physically possible for an LCD panel to be better than an OLED screen. The only thing the Retina has on its side is pixel density, which won't be for much longer.
Recently Ive bought an Iphone 4 and a Samsung Galaxy S plus. In my opinion the Samsung is much better. Super amoled is much better then retina. In my opinion is the Iphone far overpriced.

S LCD is actually better than S AMOLED in my opinion because it's just looks more grainy and pixelated. I'm not sure if this is the case with all S AMOLED, but it was definitely apparent on my Vibrant. Also, Youtube quality on my Vibrant is horrible even with HQ on.

This dude is blind...only problem which oled still has to cope with is a higher pixel density and brightness. Brightness is already solved with the next revision of amoled plus, and pixel density is just a matter of time as the process of fabrication reaches another evolution.
This review is awful. it shows nothing. Camera settings that you picked are the worst to show screens. The video is a lot cooler than the real images so the quality of the screens that you are showing can't be seeing here dumbass. Learn how to hold a camera or buy a tripod cause you are shaking and filming in terrible angles even for showing the screens field of view. And put the phones together side by side and in a low light room... then you may have a real screen review

S LCD is actually better than S AMOLED in my opinion because it's just looks more grainy and pixelated. I'm not sure if this is the case with all S AMOLED, but it was definitely apparent on my Vibrant. Also, Youtube quality on my Vibrant is horrible even with HQ on.

This review is completely unprofessional - what a joke. Folks, listen. Most people you watch on YouTube review products to get free gadgets. Reviewers that have a high amount of YouTube subscribers are given the big products to review. If Apple's marketing dept., send them a phone to review, they have disclaimers, and one of them is to not shed any negative light on the product. Those that review products that are not on Apple's list, borrow a friends and do bias reviews, such as this one.

@liandriunreal, he cut it as he forgot to click back to close the notification panel at the top. If u had realised just before the cut, the notification panel appeared the top although it wasn't fully out.

This dude is blind...only problem which oled still has to cope with is a higher pixel density and brightness. Brightness is already solved with the next revision of amoled plus, and pixel density is just a matter of time as the process of fabrication reaches another evolution.

This review is awful. it shows nothing. Camera settings that you picked are the worst to show screens. The video is a lot cooler than the real images so the quality of the screens that you are showing can't be seeing here dumbass. Learn how to hold a camera or buy a tripod cause you are shaking and filming in terrible angles even for showing the screens field of view. And put the phones together side by side and in a low light room... then you may have a real screen review
