  • if thats a real accidient did the guy who flew out survive? and whille seat belts dont streach if the car is old enough not to have a locking mechanicism to lock the seat bealts into a set length the seat belt will pull from its roller and get longer allowing you to slip out of it during a role over event

  • Don't worry, the car is ok :D (in 3D)

  • whats the name of the song?

  • @bekimA16: "Yellow Ledbetter" by Pearl Jam

  • Saludos; excelente trabajo, actual uso edge fx para mis reconstrucciones virtuales, me gustaria saber que programas usa. puedes ver un trabajo demo. mio en you tube; animacion edge fx.. Mi email es

    pr.goforensic@yahoo.com

  • The Driver saw this accident coming and decided not to go on the trip. I laud his insight.

  • I didn't kno I had to pay for an expensive program to kno seat belts do not stretch

  • Then you have some elaborating to do

  • YOU HAVE?

@joeynighthawk69 Did you pay for it?

Please, do it better and show me. I am always willing to learn new things.

  • Since when do seat belts stretch?

  • @joeynighthawk69 NEVER!

  • Good work. It shows the process very well.

  • thanks @cscdigitalgraphics. ;-)

  • exelente amigo!!! Ese es tu trabajo? =O quisiera hacerte unas preguntas

  • @Romams74 , podes escribirme a fferro ARROBA hotmail PUNTOCOM o en skype a fernandohectorferro

    saludos

  • Very believable, do not put this down!!!!!!!!

  • I personally think cars need four point seatbelts. Sure, the current three point seatbelts work great during frontal and near frontal accidents but look at any side or rollover crash test footage and you can see how easily the occupant slides out of the shoulder belt.

  • Totally agree with you.

Since I am not an expert here, but only the forensic animator, I want to be careful with my opinions. But it's hard enough for drivers used seat belts today (at least in my country). The more difficult it would be placed on 4-point...

  • i dont see how that could happen

  • @burgundyyears - Do you have something better? Do you have anything at all? Great job.-1 for common sense.

  • @thecyberfleamarket

Nothing better than an expert doing his job. Let's do them what they know.

Yeah, common sense... Work.Study. For what...

  • Not even remotely realistic. -1 for fantasy.

  • IS VERY GOOD ANIMATION... BUT ISN´T TRUE

He knows about video animation but need more information over tree point seat belt, much more if have pretensioner equiped...

  • is this real proof that you can still be ejected fro a vehicle WEARING your safety belt. And we are led to believe that this can NEVER happen with the 3 point safety belt system.

  • It's so sad, my sister died this way

  • So professional! I was very impressed, thanks for this vid!

  • how much of this was done with reactor? did you have to do something to make it flip or could you get the side of the road to flip it?

  • Hi terrablader,

The car was animated manually. Reactor was used to animate the human model inside it.

As everything happens too fast some parts of him pass through the car mesh, for example the hands, so I have to tweak it after Reactor simulation.

  • Genial Fernando!!
