@sZeRo0Xx I just wonder how so many Lakers and non Lakers fans write off Pau because of his display in last playoffs. The guy was completely out of gas and motivation. He reached 3 finals in a row, only had 1 free summer in the last 13 years cause of Spain's national team. He'll bounce back now that he had some time after the Eurobasket to rest and prepare for the season decently. And either if Bynum is fit or Lakers trade him and Odom for Howard, he'll play less minutes and focus on his PF role

Not only would dirk make that spain team an even better team but germany also wouldn't be as good with pau as they are with dirk. pau has better defense and rebounding but dirk's offense allows him to carry any team and make them better

And you have to consider that Dirk plays on the perimeter, so his chances of getting rebounds is less. yet their numbers are incredibly close

@kobe8chiong Dirk's my favorite, but I have tremendous respect for Gasol... 2 NBA rings, 2006 Worlds Gold & MVP, 2008 Olympic Silver, 2009 Eurobasket Gold & MVP, and 2002 NBA ROY. Dirk maybe a better shooter/clutch player to go with leadership, but Gasol's a better inside player, rebounder, defender, and passer. He doesn't deserve all this bashing just because of one lousy post season. Pau and Dirk are very CLASSY individuals, and that's what makes them special in the sport.

Dirk is an underrated rebounder. he plays on the perimeter a lot on offense so his chances of getting offensive rebounds are lower. he has consistently been in the top 10 defensive rebounders list He even was the 2nd best defensive rebounder in 2005 behind KG
