Ovechkin is great, but he drives to the net and tries to beat everyone almost every time he has the puck, and of course he gets a great highlight or two per year from it. There's about 20 other players in the NHL that would make as good or better highlights every year if they played that selfishly.

If anyone's watched him play, it's obvious that his near record-breaking shots-on-goal amount for about 2/3 of his assists via deflections and rebounds (you know, they count as assists, right?)
