Wood fences rot at ground level all posts should be bitumastic painted below ground level leaving atleast one inch of mastic above the ground level this extends a posts life by many years.

As for all those power tools its rediculous you just need basic home hand tools and perhaps a post hole spade or suger tongs (thats what we call the double hinged type spade in the UK) to reduce the amount of dry mix concrete you use to mount the posts

home depot sucks . i worked there for over four years at 0478 then we got some raciest mexican store manager and i and many others were fired.They used the excuses that i wasn't harassing customers enough about getting a homedepot credit card . they are paying my unemployment right now :-) . I bought a hud home right around the time they fired me and have spent $4000 + at lowes so in a way they screwed themselves. my whole family and my wife's family wont shop there now :)
