so just watched it... I think it's a great idea for a movie, but was a horrible movie overall. I understand I'll probably be hated for this comment but just saying, the acting was poor, the script was poor, the editing was bad, the soundtrack couldn't have been more of a joke. I'm sorry but it really was just a bad film, I wish it could be redone & done right because I love Pete Maravich as a player, I think he was an innovator for the sport, & a marvel to watch. just wish the movie was better.

seems to be a good movie, but i dont understand why the americans wont accept that pistol pete was not originally from america. His parents went to the USA in the 70s in the move his father represents the typical american role model father....speaking perfect english....that annoys me a little bit....

@TravisBickleSFRJ I don't know how or where you got your information, but you are wrong. Press Maravich(Pete's Father) was born in Alliquippa, Pennsylvania as was Pete. Press's first coaching job was West Virginia Weslyan in the 1949-1950 season. Then coached at a number of schools throughout the 50s and 60's including Clemson and LSU, where Pete actually played for his dad in the late 1960s. Do a little research.

i saw this movie the other night and i also read a book on pistol pete maravich and his dad wasnt as nice in real life as he was in the movie he was more of the type of dad who yeklled and cussed and pushed his kid to get better by yelling
