i got a different problem, i got options only for quick battle, battle list but i dont have an option for camapign battle!!!!!. I heard this might be a bug that many people have. 1. Do u have to have open UPNP ( Like with CoD mw2 ) to invite people ?

2. How good is the campaign online for co-op ? I got total war my self, but still in single player ( i belive in gettin good before wasting peoples time lol ) but i wanna know how much u can play co-op in the online campaign. :)

1. I would have no idea what UPNP is. In ETW you can just set up a server (put a password on it if you want), then you can wait for people to join it, or you can invite any one who is on your friend list in steam.

2. Multiplayer campaign still has some bugs, but the idea is great, and I'm sure it will work very well if we give it some time =).

you have to add the other player to the steam friends list so if it does cut out you can both reload the last autosave.

oh and did you know there was a United Provinces mod on Total War Center? looks pretty interesting you should check it out if you haven't all ready. instead of having those fruity neon blue and orange uniforms, the mod makes the uniforms more historicaly accurate

im pretty sure you cant both go the same faction but you can still team up with the other player to fight the AI and im pretty sure if u select not to simulate or to fight each other even when fighting as ai then u spectate

this is something official made by CA. Normal multiplayer will still work, it doesn't affect that.

Yeah, you can have more people though, I think up to 8 and you can play the campaign co-op or against each other, or even make alliances.

you just have to remove it from your ETW directory, when you want to use your mod in single player again you just put it back in the ETW directory.

The first steps of the instructions doesn't make any sense at all!

"1. Install Empire and the Steam client as per instructions included with the game.

2. Launch the Steam client and select "Activate a product on Steam..." under the "Games" menu."

What the heck does that mean?!

well, let me explain for other people who don't understand:

1. = Install the game (some people are not smart enough to do this, most people can skip this one)

2. = Launch Steam, go in the menu bar in top to 'games', then select "Activate a product on Steam..." in that list. Click next a few times until you have to fill in your code. Go to your email (which you received after signing up on link in description of video) and copy that code to steam. Steam should do the rest now.
