lol.. Your quad core didn't exist (hadn't been invented) when this mobo & cpu was released so it's not really surprising it is way better is it? Oh.. And the AmigaONE actually CAN use Linux as that was what it was initially released with (Debian PPC)

@caesiume For your information: Windows is NOT decent and that is not just a popular myth. In case you don't believe me check with the Wine developers. Windows DOES have a few cool things but there are layers on top of layers on top of layers on top of layers... etc etc... Top layer might suffice but that does not help when the bottom layer is crap. It does not help to paint over rotten wood. :)

Amiga never ceased to exist as OS, go read a bit of Wikipedia about it.
It`s not most advanced OS now, but it`s good enough for some people, and doesn`t have some fault`s Windows has.
