Ur voice has definitely dropped. I am new to your vids & have been clicking around btwn ur surgery and other parts of your journey. Popped in on ur piece about pronouns and reposted it to this network I created for masculine IDed lesbians and transMen.
Just wanted to send you positivity. I went thru the almost same exact issue with my car last month. Fortunately mine still passes smog and I gave full disclosure of the issue and someone took it off of my hands.
Do you have to pay for everything yourself for your transition? I was watching a documentary in my country about a female to male trans and he had everything covered on the National Health Service. He had the counselling and even had the operation to build a penis out of skin from the arm.
hang in there, you can rise to the challenge and make it work for you. Just know it's not forever. I stumbled across your videos & it's awesome to see how open & articulate you are
My voice goes up and down too. I was able to unload my car on craigslist w/o smog or registration. It even had body damage and I fully disclosed. Sacramento has a lot of folks who like to do rebuilds though. Russian Mafia :)
Hey Aydin. Congrats on your recovery from the ED. As a trans woman also in recovery from an ED, I can relate to how difficult it can be. It's good to know I'm not alone. Best wishes for you and your journey.
I'm in England and I have the same trouble with cars. They're just money pits. Always something going wrong with them. I'm not sure what the woman meant by, 'being real'. We don't really say that here. Is it the same as being normal? Wow 1000 for a therapist? I hope it has worked for that much lol.
Hey Aydin, I feel you on the car/money issues. It's worth posting on craigslist and you can say what mechanical work needs to be done. You never know what mechanic is out there looking for a side project, or someone who has your exact same car looking to buy it for parts. Even if there are no takers, it's worth a shot.
What a great gift! Thats really cool. I feel you on both the car & money issues. Near me, I've heard of people arranging to have their cars fixed by the local High School or Community College Auto mechanic School. The student mechanics get to learn how to fix specific things in return for cheap labor. lol.
What an awesome friend!! I'm so happy for you. And I wish I could find a group around here for eating disorders. But I live in the middle of nowhere! I really hope things get better for you financially. You are a great guy.
that's great that you've touched someone so deeply... I mean... I haven't reached people like that... I can totally see that about you though. Any ways... The car thing... what if you sold it to someone for a reduced price & told them up front before they bought it it was messed up? You wouldn't get as much out of it but you'd get something... If not, someone told me driving a car with no power steering is a fantastic way to build upper body strength! ^_^ I hope it works out for you.
Congrats on the gift, that is very moving! Just wanted to let you know your looking awesome, really handsome... plus have a great time with Carson in SF, cheers
If you can't get the first mechanic to fix it for free than maybe scrapping is an option? If you can live without a car for a while you have some cash.
Hang in there. You're positive attitude despite the challenges in your life right now is inspiring. I'm sure there will be a break in the clouds soon.
Very noticeable drop. You sound great! I know how you feel on the car issue. I have a 13yr old truck that i bought 5yrs ago for $1500. It died on my way home from work Tues AM. I'm looking at about $650 to fix it. I don't have much choice right now b/c I can't afford a car payment. Maybe you could sell your car for parts. Just an idea to think about. I would definitely contact the 1st place that fixed your car though, & see if you can get them to fix it for free. Good luck either way.
if the mechanic didn't fix it properly, take it back and say fix it, and if they don't call the better business bureau. of course it sounds simpler than it is, but i wish you luck.
there is a noticeable drop in your voice, and your face looks more masculine as well. are you building muscle in your shoulders?
when you reach across to scratch your back, your biceps look HUGE. just sayin.

I'm sure the voice going back and forth is just temporary and eventually it'll drop permanently. :)

We don't have national health coverage in the U.S., so I had to pay for everything myself.

What country are you from? And as you know America would never be that good even if they did have universal healthcare! :(

Hey Aydin,
The up and down voice is annoying - I keep having that too. But you're looking great! What a great friend you have! Thats awesome.
Take care,
