How SD Burman got inspiration for this tune? For a month SD could not get the proper tune for this situation,but Bimal Roy told him that he will wait until SD get one. One day early morn SD opened the window s of his Mumbai flat and there came a bird fluttering it's wings is a flash and passed the window , a beautiful sound similar to the " gooora" part of "mora gora ang" and SD ran to the harmonium and the tune was made immediately. SD phoned Bimal Roy and he was very happy with the song.
