  • A genious... No doubt.. Sadly missed by lots... I hope youre resting with some good coke my friend !!!!!

    Yeeehaaa wee man !!!!

  • I remember I used to own the original album of Quiet Riot with Randy on it.

When I moved to Hawaii I stored my albums at my aunts house, and she later decided it was a good idea to store the albums in the rain.

    AGHHH!!!

over 300 albums collected from early 70's to late 80's all ruined

  • 2:11 was the other half included in the Randy Rhoads years version of this song. The Laughing Gas on that album is from 2 shows. I Don't know where the rhythm and band comes from but starting at 2:11, this guitar solo is part of the Laughing Gas solo on that album. Great one if you ask me.

  • awesome he is a beast

  • there's more film of bigfoot than there is of randy. unbelievable! RIP Randall Rhoads. A Genius!

  • Nobody will play guitar like that! A master guitarist! R.I.P. (Return if possible)

  • this makes me want to play guitar, and to show up every rap/pop song

  • Not quit but quiet

  • @guitarrosegroove lol.. i saw that too... Quit Riot!!!! nooo... QUIET RIOT!

  • @buzzsaw177 yes...everybody,quit keep quiet!

  • Best Guitarist ever

  • Awesome totally Awesome! Hi yo Randy away.RIP.Without Randy guiar music would suck.

  • The Starwood in 1977. What brilliance, style, fluidity and the quickness of those runs.NO ONE,NO ONE else was playing stuff like that in 77.The most influential player ever, still here attempted mimics today. A+++ for technicality, innovation and Straight out GODLINESS!!! R.I.P. Randall William Rhoads

  • Ritchie Blackmore is not no one. Thanks!

  • Happy birthday Randy

  • Sorry not touring. But writing

  • @ProIntervention '78 or '79 most likely. By '80 he was touring with Ozzy

  • someone write tabs for this masterpiece!....

  • Cant beat abit of Quit Riot and Randy Rhoads R.I.P

  • who the fuck is 'quit riot.' Learn to spell you fucking dumb ass

  • @pgdrums12 friggin relax dude!Like your so perfect!LOL!

  • Sweet!

  • i cant believe the perfect quality for 1980 or 81 or what the fuck year this is

  • i love how he smiles everytime they applaud him:) i love love love his smile

  • Quit Riot... Lol

  • With skills you can play the guitar, with passion you can become the guitar like RR. RIP Randy Rhoads

  • this is cool! did they ever make any albums with randy rhoads in quiet riot? or were they just a garage band at the time

  • @Tropicsca they have pretty famous songs idk if they have any albums though i think they do

  • Randy was a great guitarist ...but the best?...Eddie Van Halen to me was a better guitar player..way more original and innovative ...Neal Schon also ....but thats just my opinion

  • 28 dislikes? really? 28 people dont know a great musician even if its playin at the whiskey before there eyes...

  • Anyone know the name of the classical piece that he does at 0:48?

  • superb axe work...Randy is by far my favorite guitarist of all time. thanks!!!!!

  • and finished with Dee...*-*

    usually,when I see great guitarrists,

it makes me think:"Damn,I wish I played like him"...

but, when I see Randy , it makes me think ,

    "Damn....I wish he was alive!!"

  • @JakesHouseProduction I am guessing it was around 1978 if not then it was very very close to it.

  • @bullard1707 you can find tabs for this on ultimate guitar, just search laughing gas by quiet riot. You will find it no problem if it's still there.

  • 28 ppl are fucking tone deaf retards

  • can someone give me the tabs lmAO

  • hmmm i wonder also, how many people did the starwood or whiskey a go go hold?

  • @mattRRgraham1996 idk, but most clubs hold 200-350 people..... idk, doesnt matter. Old Quiet Riot still rules

  • @buzzsaw177 hahah totally, actually, you hear some similar solo patterns from his quiet riot days to his ozzy days.

  • Could you tell me what year this was?

  • he in this moment will be the best guitarrist of the world :D

  • BEEEEEEEEEEEST (:

  • Randy reaction @ 3:23 is so F---ING Sweet!!! It seems like that was Randy actually being himself and having FuN! I wonder where Randy/Quiet Riot would have been today if Randy would have never connected with OZZY????????? Randy was proud of Quiet Riot because he formed the band and was being himself and CREATIVE! He was so far ahead of his time..... RIP

  • Well pwiegand,as a man of the guitar for over 35 years, and grew up where they played and watched both of them...Randy was second to none! Not to mention he was out first

  • I'm sorry, but as both a Randy & an Eddie fan, I gotta say after viewing this that he gleaned a lot of licks/style from Eddy. At minute 2:44 he totally bites off of Eddie's Eruption melody. I'm sure that I'll get a TON of crap for this, but Randy himself said in an interview before he died that he learned a lot from Eddie's playing.

  • @pwiegand Why worry about getting crap? It's the truth. Halen and Riot had a friendly rivalry going on, Rhoads admitted several times to being influenced by eddie. Friendly competition is what it's all about. When it all comes down to it, they were both amazing and extremely talented and had their own styles and impact on Rock and Roll. There's room enough in the world for a billion guitarists. It's just sad that there apparently wasn't enough room in it for Randy :/

  • @ZiddersRooFurry I only said that because the die-hard Randy fans hate hearing about it, even though it's true. There's an audio recording here on YouTube of a phone interview between Jas Obrecht & Eddie from '82 where VH makes a comment about the same Randy interview. In many of the comments, the "Randy is the Only Guitar Hero" guys just viciously rip into Ed for simply talking about something that was historical fact.

  • @pwiegand would it be possible to find that interview?

  • THE WHOLE PACKAGE

  • quit riot lol

  • ultra

  • To bad its QUIET NUBE

  • @randyrhoads61 Too bad its NOOB, noob!

  • @Cobra4993 hahaha

  • randy rocks....one of the guitar legends...

  • this was not good

  • At the very end you can hear the chords of DEE, maybe the first version of it.

  • And shes suppose to get credit for what her father did?

  • i want his clean tone sooooo badd no homo XD

  • Pure genius...

  • Randy Rhoads. Best. Guitarist. Ever.

  • 2:30 starts with beautiful noise.

  • every time i listen to Randy play its just amazing i'm still blown away by how good of a guitar player randy was

  • R.J. Dio, Cliff Burton, John Bonham, Randy Rhoads...there is a nice band in hell

  • @kickalion HEAVEN, stupid!

  • @fraroc you'r wrong

  • @kickalion how am I wrong?

  • @kickalion ........in heaven my friend, in heaven.

  • @ajaxrules1975 bullshit

  • this solo is on the Q Riot randy years cd...good shit

  • @FLAMINGSTRINGZ wth, he had 2 rhoads guitars. One black one white. Whats the differece between the concorde and the rhoads?

  • @fraroc the concorde was the prototype of the Rhoads model

the concorde was "the white one" the Rhoads was "the black one"

he named his concorde after a plane he took for something, it had volume knobs to replicate a les paul ann a pickup switch on the ribs of the guitar the input jack was on the bottom fin, the neck joined with the body at the fifteenth fret and it was a slightly different shape then the Rhoads.

the Rhoads was everything that Randy didnt like fixed.

    wise up boy.

    stay Metal

  • @FLAMINGSTRINGZ never knew that, I always assumed that he owned 2 Jackson RR guitars. And I noticed that the Black one looked les bulky than the white one which looked pretty big (Randy was a small guy! Look how big the les paul is on him! Serously, Idk how he was even able to carry it let alone play it!)

  • Fuck Sharon Osbourne that fucking cow is worthless and a shit stain on Ozzy's career

  • @kingdiamond69

dude her dad signed him to a record deal after he was wth sabbath

  • Good live footage of Randy is so rare I'm downloading this before Sharon sues YouTube to have it removed.

  • randy and dimebag should have teamed with cliff burton and dave lombardo

  • Is he playing a Les Paul Gibson? Nice.......

  • @topssuite the les paul is one of his 3 signature guitars....

  • @fraroc FOUR

the Concorde was different than his Rhoads

  • the true sound of killerness

  • I think Randy never ever used his neck pickups on his les paul.

  • 5:54 dee¿?

  • the thunderbird still rockz in heaven, amen randy 4ever.

  • So much potential! Too short of a life! Randy was the best!

  • Im suprised how his guitar neck doesnt break

  • amazing to see how his solo evolved into what it became on the tribute album.. and to see Dee in probably its earliest form at the end... wow.

  • 28 people are deaf dumb and blind

  • 28 people stopped playing guitar!

  • Sorry Eddie van halen, you lost!!! RANDY RHOADS!!!!

  • uh 28 people are just straight up douche bag beiber fans. how the fuck could you not like this amazing shit

  • @JakeyRhoads It's possible to click the wrong button, especially back with OldTube where you had to click tight-together stars.

  • @JakeyRhoads it is possible but if you did it accidently you could still go back and like it. i just find this hard to dislike. i mean he was great imo

  • YAWN

  • 28 people think Fred Durst is a good guitar player.

  • if only people played guitar like this in this generation

  • @Metallicametalhead95 Most People Don't Even Play Guitar Anymore!!! They Play Guitar Hero Instead!!! This Generation Is Pathetic!!! :(

  • @DylanBStringer91 i do!!!! guitar hero is retarded but good in a way b/c it gets younger kids into the older rock and metal, but thats the only good thing about it lol

  • @Metallicametalhead95 yeah I totally agree, guitar hero got me into 80s hard rock and heavy metal

  • he must have had a bunch of groupies. i need to look into guitar :P

  • its spelled QUIET RIOT!!!!

  • What fucker would cut it off right in the middle of "Dee"?!?!?!?!?!

  • He literally butchered that guitar. Miss you Randy. Rest in peace our hero !!!

  • Randy left a HUGE legacy despite being taken away form us so soon. Sorely missed, never forgotten.... and always appreciated. RR forever!

  • I like how you call them "QUIT" RIOT lol ... it's ok, I have spelled Randy's last name wrong before on a comment and only realized too late and I could not take it back. Man, did I feel bad about that! At least you got his name right :)

  • What an AMAZING musician Randy was. Glad he was around long enough to show his KICK ASS TALENT, THANK YOU MR.RHOADS for your contributions to music.

  • é talento natural, esse cara é muito foda pena que morreu,Triste.

  • we were lucky to have him!!!!!!!!!

  • His guitar playing was like NO OTHER!!! He was fucking FIERCE!!!! Why are the BEST always taken from us?????????? R.I.P.

  • the 26 people who voted no should be hung up by their thumbs!!!!!!!

  • the 26 people who disliked this are deaf and disliked it cause they were pissed they couldnt hear it

  • could anyone name all the songs he plays in this video please?

  • @GamingFG Theyr not songs he's just improvising. But at the end he plays something similar to Dee,the acoustic instrumental on Ozzy's Blizzard of ozz album.

  • The man period!

  • i don't like the part from 6:02...

  • When Randy played with these guys, he was like a Man with boys...Playing with Ozzy was another small step up, and God knows what he'd be up to now. Life really doesn't make sense sometimes...

  • @jimistreets Eddy would be a zit on his ass lol...

  • 29 years ago today. RIP Randy.

  • DAMN! how low did he bend the neck at 4:53 ? its amazing it stayed in tune.

  • woooooooo! .,., asi se toca la guitarra

  • 25 people have small penises

  • after i watched this vid i grabbed my guitar and started soloing my god i don't know where this inspiration came from !! bless u randy !!

  • 1:31, thats the cameraman jacking off cuz its that bloody amazing

  • i love randy but this solo is a mimic of a Brian may solo

  • from 2:43 to 3:04 this was his solo so awesome and unique

  • @birthdaykillahx4 im soooooooo in love with that part !! i opened this video just to see it !!!

  • I love the playing Randy did with Ozzie but there isn't much going on here musically speaking, just a lot of noodling, mostly, some of it sloppy. Randy actually can play beyond this, and with feeling. Interestingly a rock journalist/photographer who snapped most of the big rock acts said that when he met Randy again after having been hired by Ozzie his playing jumped up to another level (in the space of two years) I'm thinking that he revamped his style doubling up on his practice time.

  • An absolute legend!!!

  • I play guitar and Randy is my inspiration and idol.

    R.I.P RANDY RHOADS

  • #1 Guitarist ever on the face of the earth :D R.I.P. my friend. you are an inspiration to us all

  • 25 people dislike the fact that Randall Rhoads is gone from this world, travesty of travesties...

  • just freakin awesome and unbeatable.R.I.P RANDY.i love you so much.

  • now Randy only plays for satan u.u

  • Seeing shit like this from Randy makes me hate the fact i wuz born in the 90s because i realize i missed out on an awesome generation.Greatist Guitarist ever.

    R.I.P

  • @XXMikeyMayhemXX Right there with you... Was born a decade after Randy passed, a decade after DLR left Van Halen, a decade after the spawning of thrash, 2 decades after KISS was amazing... Pisses me off

  • @TheBellTollsForMe those are all different years

  • @randyrhoads1028 it wasn't meant to be the exact year for each, it was a decade thing...

I was born 11 years after Randy died

8 years after Diamond Dave left

11 years after Kiss' last good album before Revenge

13 years before Overkill came on the scene (or whoever you consider the first thrash band)

    Is that better for ya?

  • @TheBellTollsForMe diamond dave?

  • @uzickimajmunac David Lee Roth from Van Halen?

  • is the title supose to be Quiet Riot??

  • The Discovery Channel needs to make a new documentary "What if Randy Rhoads Lived?"

  • @GibsonGuitarist1022 then world would be much better

  • @GibsonGuitarist1022 if he lived this world would still love rock n roll n stop listening to so much rap

  • THE BEST!!! PERIOD!!!!

  • God just needed a kick-ass guitarist, so naturally he picked Randy.

  • @TheKiteLegacy He should have used Hendrix and left Randy for us !!!

  • @mjpanek68 hahahaha true! i don't care about fucking hendrix

    maybe if i was on drug,i would enjoy his music...but i don't

  • @XmetalXpowerX wow i really strugle with ppl who cant see jimi's obvious genius! it's like right there talk to any music person and they see it but you don't wow you must be like so inlightened wonder as great as randy was if anyone is talkin about him in 200yrs! lol

  • @outtacastatv maybe he was a 'genius' but i think he just was at the right place in the right moment if you know what i mean

  • @XmetalXpowerX yes i'm sure that was all just luck i think if you asked randy he'd even tell you.

  • @outtacastatv thank you for callin Hendrix a genious. Its nice to see there are still believers out there

  • @TheKiteLegacy.....then he killed him.

  • @TheKiteLegacy Yeah, he had John Bonham up there, and Jimi Hendrix was on too much acid (because they have drugs in heaven, but they have no negative side effects) to play guitar, so they moved him to bass. And God sings.

  • @TheKiteLegacy so it was God that sent that plane into that house? that bastard!

  • @0ZAZU Ever since 'the accident', God never did see straight...

  • @TheKiteLegacy or the god needed a guitar teacher...

  • I gotta say that I've been greatly influenced as a guitarist by Randy. He had a very unique style and I hope one day to even be a quarter as good as he was.

  • hey we should just appreciate both guitarists for their art zakk is great and so is randy why compare them zakk was influenced by randy and well its pointless to compare because they are both different styles despite being the heavy metal style they both play differently i say its all dope so smoke some weed and enjoy both zakk and randy

  • at 4:35 minut sounds like the intro of john frusciante rhcp in californication live in hide park

  • Yeah man, Quick Roti is ´the´ popgroup ever

  • Fuck the band is called Quiet Riot not Quit Riot not Quite Riot get it right you call your selves music lovers

  • FUCK ALL OF YOU, RANDY IS AWESOME AND SO IS ZAKK SO GET FUCKED YOU MORONS COMPARING

  • we remember rhoads as the great guitarist he was

  • Yo randy ! Hoe does it feel to play in heaven ?

  • HOLY SHIT what he did at 4:38 made me crap my pants :D it is awesome!!!!

  • He was too good for quite riot.

  • @megadeth1056 one...he put his heart and soul into that band......2.....quiet riot

  • @randyrhoads1028

Im not saying quiet riot suck or any thing but randy was one in a decade to really do somthing in guitart i think ozzy just suited him best.

  • the randy rhoads effect>>>quiet riot would later become the godfathers of the 80's metal sound, than he joins ozzy and makes the two greatest albums ever for the genre...he's a god

  • fuckin mezzzzzmorizing!

  • Is 1:25 -
