  • I am Balti-kashmiri and proud to be.

A Balti proverb: "The first time you share tea with a Balti, you are a stranger. The second time you take tea, you are an honored guest. The third time you share a cup of tea, you become family

  • Proof positive that both David Relin, the author of TCOT, and Greg Mortenson, who has since blamed factual misrepresentations in TCOT on Mr. Relin, have for years told the same story and that story is based on a lie.

No wonder Mr. Relin has not said a public word since this scandal came to light... there he is in front of the camera telling tall tales and misleading the audience.

    .

  • See for your self on Google Earth. It will be ABSOLUTELY clear to all then! You will see the bridge on the Biafo River, the confluence of the Biafo River and the Braldu River, and you will see Askolie and Korphe. You will also see trails.

  • ...the main point about Mortenson "stumbling" into Korphe in the video starts at 2 minutes and 56 seconds - based upon the geography, this is a very difficult, if not an impossible feat to accomplish. There is no bridge to Korphe on the Br...aldu River where Mortenson "got lost."

  • PLEASE SEE FROM 2:56 TO 4:00.

    1. THIS IS THE BIAFO RIVER.

    2. THIS IS NOT THE BRALDU RIVER GORGE.

    3. THE BRALDU RIVER IS SOUTH OF THIS RIVER (LEFT).

    4. IF MORTENSON DID NOT TAKE THIS CROSSING OVER THE BIAFO RIVER HE WOULD HAVE COME TO A DEAD END AT THE ACTUAL BRALDU RIVER.

...5. KORPHE IS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BRALDU RIVER AND THERE IS NO BRIDGE ON THE BRALDU RIVER NEARBY.

  • Wonderful.
