@beaster29 Well, seeing as my camera has been broken for the past 9+ months because I was retarded and stepped on it while the lens was extended and that there is absolutely 0 snow here in PA because as of now it's been 40-50 degrees F on average. I have gone through about 7 inches of snow with highway terrain tires with no problems at all...what I'm getting at is that newer jeeps aren't as good as the older ones. The JK Wranglers are pretty good and I haven't really seen a GC offroad
@beaster29 Pretty much what I'm getting at is, the Liberty's are not as good as their predecessor (the Cherokee XJ) but are still capable. The Patriots are most likely worse (haven't seen that offroad much). The JKs as I stated are pretty good, the newer Grand Cherokees seem ok from the few videos I have seen. And I don't know if I would call the compass an offroad vehicle, never saw one off of the pavement but they just don't look like they would be good...but looks can be deceiving

People walk away injury free from collisions now that 10 years ago could have been a trip to the hospital for minor injuries and months healing. 20 Years ago the same crash could have killed them. Yes cars are not as tough in collisions as they used to be. For every part that bends breaks or deforms it means less force on the people inside the car.

The impact was not enough to have jolted me much but I did bump my head on the window, but nowhere enough to get a concussion. If I had gotten in the same accident in my Grandmother's toyota camry the door would have crumpled enough that the window would have shattered and I could have hit my head off of the pole harder

The KJ as seen here uses a 3.7L V6 in most cases (Some 2.4L 4 bangers and 2.8L CRD Diesels too) Which is the same engine used in many Ram 1500's,Durango's,Dakota's etc..... That is All!

This is BMW's old 4wd. Newer models have new x drive which is better at snow. And this is 3 series, you can't compare it with Jeep because BMW has lower ground clearance. And of course, it doesn't have low range because it's not intended for off road. BMW has 4wd just for improving performance on wet and slippery surfaces.
The Cherokee didn't had snow tired when I was with my dad we had pout in are blazer snow tires we went at a place that the snow was on the door and we didn't even pout the 4wheel driving we were going with 2 wheel and withought the snow tires we barely move because of the ice snow tires make a very big different

The Cherokee didn't had snow tired when I was with my dad we had pout in are blazer snow tires we went at a place that the snow was on the door and we didn't even pout the 4wheel driving we were going with 2 wheel and withought the snow tires we barely move because of the ice snow tires make a very big different

@jml8841 not really... what it is is a "sort of off roader" without much of offroadyness but with the sportiest and prettymuch best styling inside and out that can't really do much more than a sedan does... but if money no subject - why not right?!? that's why i think it's for people who simply dont care... and i wouldnt care too if i was rich... like i would love to drive one but i would never get one because im forced to think like a peasant :D

Im sorry but if you lived in an area where it snows a lot or even just during the winter, why would you spend so much money on a RWD beamer. Even if you had xdrive it probaly wouldnt do what the trail rated can do. I would just buy a grand cherokee or something. Sedans are pointless to own anywhere near snow. Atleast get a subi or something. And the end of the video is the best. You are one in many Jeep owners to have that expression after getting out of your vehicle.
