  • Hawt Asian girl

  • It's like how they gathered around the cord that NASA lost and it was caught on video.

  • Excellent. Thank you for posting.

    Take Care

  • @UPTHElRS thanks for sharing , i can't wait!

  • can we eat em"? hmmm lets kill em skin en and sell em"

  • I caught a rod on my gamecam along with a deer. It's on my channel

  • SPEAK ENGLISH

  • Ahahaha! Oh my god, the length that village nut goes to to catch imaginary flying rods! :D A true Rod Master! Not only they made a tv program about it, but a computer animation! Way to promote Japanese intelligence! I mean, if there's one nation in the world that knows how a video camera works, it's the Japanese, and they haven't figured this out. Amazing stupidity, or some weird Japanese comedy.

  • You must be really high on drugs to think that these things are birds flying at abnormal speeds. These are UFOs.

  • Rods don't exist or someone somewhere would have found a dead one.

It's a phenomenom caused by insects or birds moving it's wings faster than the camera's shutter speed.

This guy,the film crew, and most people who believe are simply misguided....Actually the guy in this film is an idiot so I've no excuses for him but ask yourself why no-one has ever found a dead one and do some research.

It's all about how film camera's render images and about shutter speeds.

Nothing to see here, move along.

  • lol :))

  • Two possibilities. One, they evolved from Sea Monkeys and took to the air as their new enviornment. Their new name: Air Monkeys. Or two, they were genetically engineered by splicing the genes of a Sea Monkey and a Moth!

  • another explanation, search, Flying Rods, dem guys

  • watch?v=8NjzUHHKIEY

"THE REAL RODS" filmed with an Industrial IR Surveillance System! You'll will wish you never watched this clip, but I share it anyways so that you all know what to look for on film and in real life as to how the real RODS look and move!

  • 1:48 LMAO

  • holy crap did u see that dudes name its yagami light out of deathnote ahhhhh!!!

  • this jap are idiots!

  • they never catch the sky fish ahahaha!

  • i can see that most rods are just moths or flys canght on camera. but how about the rods that have been caught on underwater footage? they cant be moths.

  • ok. here it is guys... this vid is THE answer. yes, i did believe rods were 'strange' / 'out of this world'. but this is the vid that did it.

    watch?v=HEurk1JPo-w

  • If it was this easy we would already have one in captivity.

  • that what you call "fish rod" are like a energy airplane from another dimention

  • skyfish is poisonous from autumn to winter...

    Danger !!? Lol..

You guys know there is a vid on youtube that clearly shows rods are just moths ? Because of the camera, it can't pick up the rapid wing speed of the moth, so the camera makes it look like a series of "combined" wings - - thus a rod is formed.

  • no.

  • That dosnt make any sense at all I have never seen a moth or a bird fly that fast in my life it's probley just a bunch of people trying to put it to rest for some reason..to make themselves look cool

  • For years I actually believed in rods. Then I saw that vid, side-by-side comparison, one with a high speed cam and the other normal cam. The way the moth moves on a normal cam, it creates the illusion of the flying rods as the normal cam cannot pick up the entire quick movement of the wings - - - hence it looks like the wings are connected. Get it ? On the high speed cam, omg... it was just a freakin moth.

That is why NO ONE, not even a soul, has caught a flying rod. Coz it is just a moth.

  • @defaultname365 how do u explain the ones that go 300 miles an hour and are 10 feet long?

  • @medullabeast55 insect. a flying insect. they don't come out of the ocean water and stuff... the camera just can't pick up all the motion of the wings.

  • LOL you are a pathetic piece of shit. need the safety of ur computer to say shit like that? fucking pussy, drop a pair.

  • did yo see his shoes so badass fukig ninja

  • lmfao!

  • At least take pictures of them before releasing them... this is japan, right? Where almost everyone owns a digital camera...

  • that was a waste of time

  • I love it =>

  • It's right up there with spaghetti trees!.

  • to catch skyfish you need to go fly fishing

  • urrr...very funny -_-"

  • omg poisonous rods that fly faster then the speed of light, were all DOOMED!

  • awseome

  • retard is when these fools fail at being tards and then try again.

  • Didn't that guy just win the recent PGA tournament?

  • The RODS are Poisonous?

  • riiiiiiiight

  • That person is fucking japanese, are you retarted?

  • What crap! Any insect on camera flying past will look like a ROD! Its because of the shutter speed of the camera! Trust me im a camera man by trade.

  • OMG IT'S LIGHT! ..You know, death note? lol the repoters last name was Yagami. .. Couldnt help it lolz.

  • I dont see any 'skyfish' in these videos, is this supposed to prove their existence, if it is.....fails miserably

  • its been proven, they are bugs and birds tricking cameras making them dublicate and try to catch them at another speed. rods = 100% fake

  • perhaps the organism is a form of odonata, an insect, and species not yet discovered.

  • Yes, let's!

  • Japanese are so nice everything look so much happy with them :P

  • yes, they r nice people (^o^)

  • you know if u dont belive in it why do wacth it god dang people get some commen sense

  • i watched history channel 2 it waas monster quest and i think before the rods it was the bird that is so big and it eats humans

  • you mean the roc

  • HA HA HA they talk all funny.

  • I wonder how a skyfish tastes ;)

  • it's poison from autumn to winter!

    don't you read the subtitles!

  • like chicken!

  • I want to catch a skyfish and mount it.

  • next thing you know it'll be like

    Welcome to the Skyfish annual

  • the only way to prove its existance, is to catch one of those rods and put on display for the world press. not capturing it on camera i mean, in a substantive kind of way.

  • you cant catch it if its a bug people wont believe it

  • madness and utter jibberjabber!

  • eh gago pala tong hapon na to! nanghuhuli ng titeng nalipad!

  • id bang the ho at the start

  • sinungaling kayo

    you a liar

    you old fucking men

  • Okay, he claims he catches them, but has no specimens (evidence) because he let's them go. How convenient!

  • that seems to be the case with all of the "mystery beings"! I love how the guy just happens to know where the "rods" hang out and how to attract them. Knowing that much, it would be IMPOSSIBLE to not have some tangible proof. I'm sure in perfecting his catching technique he squashed or mangled a few. Not even a picture of a captured one before release? I guess thats easier than admitting the man is CRAZY and just enjoys frolicing among the shrubs while the camera rolls.

  • idiots Japanise - its true but not thing for fun

  • i saw one in a porno movie in the outside

  • Mmmm... Yummy skyfish.. nom nom nom!

  • My first thought about all this was: "Jesus.. how can people assume that it would be some kind of animal??". It could be anything, if there´s even something??

  • they are Japanese fool.

  • google RODS, a guy takes a video camera and films RODS, then zooms out and WASPS are there, then zooms back and Whalah, RODS again. THEY DON"T FUCKING EXIST PEOPLE!

  • ya they do...PERSON!!!! OHHHHH WHAT YOU GONNA DO WHEN HULKAMANIA COMES AFTER YOU BROTHER???!!!! ROIDS?

  • right it's a weather ballon filled with swamp gas..ok Gov. tool thank you for your input.

  • "MosterQuest" on the history channel already proved that these things appear to be a new type of creature but they are really just insects flying close to the camera

  • they didn't prove or disprove anything, they had one bad quality about the research they did, they did the experiment with night vision, and those types of night vision leave a light trail at night with regular framerate cameras.. so I would disagree

  • it did prove that they are nothing because they showed things that fit the description of rods and on the high speed cam they were just bugs close to the camera, how can you say they didnt prove anything?

  • did you read the comment, it was at night, maybe you are not aware of night vision tactics. the trails that night vision leaves is a reflection off the body its on, you try it with a glow bug, you wouldn't be able to see itbecause it overexeplifies the color and makes it shine, like when you use it and see it in someones eyes, you see an after trail.. so try again, they didn't disprove anything, and that was there only evidence

  • face it flying rods don't exist the naked eye is unable to see it so i dont believe it

  • they do exist, but this video is a hoax.....believe it or not...i got one in my digicam....search for more rod videos all over the world....and see it for your self...

  • they dont exist watch history channel's MosterQuest about rods they disprove the theory. the rods are only motions blurs from your camera

  • "the rods are only motions blurs from your camera"

--I've done my share of camera work and I've never seen any such "motion blurs" that look like that. You should look at mroe examples of these things. How can a motion blur fly in front then behind someone in the frame? "Motion blur" affects the entire picture, not just small parts. That would require a rotoscope type of effect.

  • bull shit

  • Discovery channel did do a special on them...I'm not saying they don't exist but they were able to catch what looked like rods and it was bugs

  • So... what are you breathing?

  • SO, getafreePS3. You can't see a moving bullet. Do u think they don't exist??

  • they're not called skyfish! d*** it(no offence) but its just a ridiculus idea, Rods or "skyfish" move at the speed of light and its impossible to catch one, let alone not being able to see one with the naked eye.

  • watch 100 greatest discoveries it will open your mind...we came from the water from a meteorite that hit the Earth, there are heated vents under the ocean all over the world that harbor a different kind of life..interesting.

  • how can you be an expert skyfish catcher if you've never caught one????

  • boang namo?

  • lol thats fun ^_^

  • what the fuck these guys had been doing?? i did not see any fuckin rods or skyfish...these things are nonsence and it proves nothing....

  • that was so gay, they didnt catch one because they cant, its never been done or else it would have been all over the media world wide

  • i watched history channel 2 it waas monster quest and i think before the rods it was the bird that is so big and it eats humans

  • holy crap i watched the same 2 episodes friday i think!

  • Although there may be a reasonable explanation for these things we cant be so arrogant as to think were the only things out there and or that we know what everything is. Everything cant be explained these things may be real.

  • actually you fruity hippy most things can be explained. they debunked the flying rod in china. but it wont get headlines becuase its not as exciting as your ideas. sorry to burst your bubble or be a buzz kill for your hippy high. read the article on wikipedia

  • uh yeah, because we all know wikipedia is full of nothing but the truth. you john, are a close minded prick

  • this is so f'ing real. how dare you, you arrogant ass.

  • its not just on wikipedia.... im the close minded prick??? haha i think anyone who dares to be open minded and question things gets shut down by close minded people like yourself.

  • I guess you didnt sense the sarcasm. I was making a joke at superstarks expense.

  • Guess not..hehe

  • You my good sir. Are a Idiot. It has not been debunked. U saying that is like saying U f o's have been debunked. And if you say that then go die =)

  • an idiot? hmmm strange my iq would suggest otherwise. smart has nothing to do with the emotions required to take a leap of faith. but you people are gullible. the length of the rod captured on film couldnt be even 3/4 the size because of the speed it travels and the cameras speed or frames per sec cant keep up so it stretches the image out in length. it is a dragonfly or a moth.

  • Well if u get off on the name calling please continue, Dosent really bother me cause im happy with myself (it was actually kinda funny... kudos.) BUT since u know so much the balls in your court. Write us an article here on... hmmmm...lets see.... everything... yeah....everything. haha. Signed____Debunked fruity hippie... oh yeah wiki spells it H-I-P-P-I-E Didnt know that huh. hahaha u kill me..

  • superstarks.... watch it. with Johns brain power, he might...

just take my word for it. I know he is smart, I have seen his finger paintings.

  • my finger paintings are fantastic asshole. dont be jealous

  • lol me too! i just watched it on histiry channel...lol

  • yeah i watched monster quest...

  • did anyone watch monsterquest? there was one on rods

  • haha yea thats actually why i'm here, has anyone ever actually caught one?

  • thats why im here too lol

  • Wrong.

  • Skyfish or Rods are nothing more than a moth flying through the field of view of a slow video camera.

  • How are they that fast and why do they look like they have stick-like bodies if they are moths

  • no buddy you dont know what they are, nobody knows what they are smartass

  • poisonous..lol wats of my time..

  • dont waste time, fake fake fake

  • skyfish been reported around the world

  • the only reason why we can't see them when they die is because the decay than normal insects or animals or whatever.

  • woaw are you a scientist making up some fake stuff ha sinfex

  • they talk so much about catching skyfish but never even show us one...total bullshit con artists

  • try watching JP TV all day/night any day/night ... usually IS a waste of time

sad, since these do exist, and nothing UFOish about them - insects, end of story

  • Wasted 6 mins!

  • If there really were flying rods, would'ent you see them dead on the ground every once in a while? Or is that when they phase back into the other dimension?

  • you dont believe in one? jesus what kind of a retard are you?

  • Lol.

  • this was a waste of 06:07 pf my life...

  • rot in hell you asshole

  • There are no real Skyfish or Flying Rods you Japanese pranksters!!

but i'll you give u 4 stars. nice video!

  • these are the things you see from the corner of your eye but you never see them properly right? if so, theres one that used to live in my fridge. lol.

  • Hunter??????Where is his flyin rods!????

  • It's not a U.F.O or Bugs from this planet.. it's came out from outer space if you study the movements from the nasa capture videos they are too familiar in act like a worm. our planet are infected from galaxy worm or other planet anomaly.. i dont know what the purpose of this but it,s not quite good if their population are became more than of us and what complication it has like virus.. :)

  • no! they are insects! they are just another species of life on this planet why do people either have to go to some crazy random explanation or go the other way and be extremely skeptical.

But yeah the guy in this vid is dumb...

  • what are you? Dale Gribble?

  • What is the "hunter" saying when it displays the word "chuman" on the screen? The interviewer reacts to something he says, but There aren't any subtitles for that moment.

    Anyone know Japanese?

  • The "hunter" saying that "chuman" is the Genius of the villange.

  • dear god everyone tuck you jewelry.......

  • ....How can someone give instructions on something that's never been done?

  • lol i dunno

y didnt dey show him catchin 1

click my name people and watch my video's

    safe

  • alguien sabe si lo atrapo o no por que no encuentro la tercera parte

  • Horseshit

  • shit is real yo i seen em

  • clean ya teeth lmao god lol check out my rods

  • the skyfish is the vilage idiots long lost toothbrush...clean your teeth for fuck sake.

  • we can catch them but cant keep them. convenient, hmm? i'll be sure to run right down to walmart for resin water and bonito... i think that guy has been smoking skyfish.

  • Ok, let me explain this to you. "Rods" are the result of a bug (any type of bug) flying too fast for the shutter speed to catch in a clear image. The white-ish color comes from the lack of camera clarity blurring these colors together. They ARE NOT ALIENS, mystical creatures, or anygarbage like that.Sorry to dash your hopes and dreams by giving you reality. But it's been proven several times. YOU LOSE.

    - BTW, shinzoabe462, i think that both of us know that story you told is false.

  • dude, your gonna laugh, but they are actually probes designed by the Isreali army. They've been using Nano technology that was designed using American tax dollars.

  • Can you site any source or any comment by a scientist or ANYTHING that might suggest to me that what you just said isn't complete garbage? I doubt you can.

  • When I was a little boy, my elder brother caught it and showed it to me. We kept it in a pond after we trimed it's wings. It swam well in water, too. But when my grandmother knowed it, she got angry. We caught it again and took it to a shrine. She said something in her mouth. Then the sky fish got wings again and went far in the sky. It was a good old days.

  • Good one. There's no such thing.

  • Bullshit vide0

  • (para los que hablamos español y en particular de México): Aguas, que esto lo va a agarrar Maussan como "evidencia" para sus fumadas investigaciones de los Rods...

  • poisonous from autumn to winter????He has a hole in his net hat. This guy seems a little wierd.

  • does this old man know that he is the village idiot?

"around here, it has been flying about since before" lol

  • japaneese chicks are hot!!

  • This show sounds like joke to me as japanese.

  • Do skyfish really exist??IN wikipedia it says that is an optical illusion produced by ordinary insects and animals. /shug

  • well, all I know that iz, if I see a "skyfish"(rod 2),I'll know how to catch it (lol) seeya round

  • Hahaha...

  • bull malarkey and poppycock I say thusly say unto you. You can't catch something that doesnt exist. Such as the elusive jackalope, hodag, guttersnipe or mothman. Spend your time less frivolously, like inventing something cool, like a time machine!!! ;)~

  • Rods are a camera artifact. The shutter speed and a common insects wing beats appear as a blurry "Rod".

They do not exist as a species, and it is impossible to observe one without a camera. This has been proven time and time again. RODS DO NOT EXIST!

  • "Rods are a camera artifact."

    OK!!!

"They do not exist as a species, and it is impossible to observe one without a camera."

kind of a contradiction there right? so if the camera is lying to us how can we know for sure? and you said "we can't observe one without a camera", so does that mean you have some doubt about your conviction?

  • this guy is bloody lying. for once i thought i can finally get to see a rod up close but all this "Skyfish Hunter" have to say is that they arent allowed to keep them for observation. total crap and a waste of time. i might as well jus announce that i once had the big foot as my pet but had to drive it away before the reporters came becuz it soiled on my floor.

  • If he could catch one he could film it, photograph it in hand. Hold it in a cage for witnesses and then release it. You would find dead ones. Other people would capture one and not release it. The fact is they are a camera artifact and nothing more. Google it. A guy shows how a camera captures them then as he zooms they become wasps. Zoom out, RODS or Chuman. Zoom in, they become wasps or other flying insects. No one will ever capture a rod for obesrvation. They DO NOT EXIST outside the camera.

  • hey i cant find the 3 part!!! no fair i want to see!!! please someone send it to me T^T

  • It is a fake!

  • Disappointing. No actual flying rods or skyfish appear in this video. He might as well be lying.

  • Leave to the Japanese to finally debunk this rod phenomenon. good job

  • this wouldve been easier to understand high

  • Skyfish=fly

  • google it, fellas... you'll find it prety interesting

  • are those even real...
