How can a motion blur fly in front then behind someone in the frame? "Motion blur" affects the entire picture, not just small parts. That would require a rotoscope type of effect.

Ok, let me explain this to you. "Rods" are the result of a bug (any type of bug) flying too fast for the shutter speed to catch in a clear image. The white-ish color comes from the lack of camera clarity blurring these colors together. They ARE NOT ALIENS, mystical creatures, or anygarbage like that.Sorry to dash your hopes and dreams by giving you reality. But it's been proven several times. YOU LOSE.

Rods are a camera artifact. The shutter speed and a common insects wing beats appear as a blurry "Rod".
They do not exist as a species, and it is impossible to observe one without a camera. This has been proven time and time again. RODS DO NOT EXIST!

If he could catch one he could film it, photograph it in hand. Hold it in a cage for witnesses and then release it. You would find dead ones. Other people would capture one and not release it. The fact is they are a camera artifact and nothing more. Google it. A guy shows how a camera captures them then as he zooms they become wasps. Zoom out, RODS or Chuman. Zoom in, they become wasps or other flying insects. No one will ever capture a rod for obesrvation. They DO NOT EXIST outside the camera.
