I live in Richmond C.A, thus; I live right next to the Chevron oil refinery and they are a piece of shit ruining the environment and not telling us about their spills, when they know that people fish just miles away. We have had many explosion that have send people to the hospital. FUCK CHEVRON!!! from my personal experience.

Unsafe company to work for . Drinking at the wharf and blending and shipping at their Richmond Refinery while watching movies on night shift and Sundays . Shooting guns at the old Asphalt plant . Wheres OSHA when you need them ? 50% of accidents get hidden because people are just too scared to come forward . Supervisors watching porn on nights . Yes it is that bad . Take out extra insurance if you go to work for them .

I worked for Chevron and they really are the epitimy of greed . They violated enviornmental laws right and left .
I once asked my boss about changing to a more eco friendly fuel for our company trucks such as alcohol or natural gas . His reply was "were in the oil business not the green business son" ! They treat thier Union employees pretty bad . How many people did Rockafeller kill back in the early 1900s? 43 ? Just because he didnt want a Union .

i find it funny how more people are interested in the music of the commercial than the commercial itself.
and personally, i find chevron's commercials to be a load of bullcrap. just a year before airing those, they were major contributors for propositions opposing the idea of money being spent on actually finding clean renewable energy such as wind, water, and solar. i mean, sure they say now they're the top contributors to finding renewable energy now, yet they're still selling oil... -.-

Well, it IS a beautiful piece of music.
I think it's at least 80% bull as well, but you can't deny this is a flippin' beautiful ad campaign. Besides, we're not going to find real alternatives to oil without LOTS of money invested in research, and oil companies are the most likely candidates to fund it, outside of environmentalist groups. Enlightened self-interest, and all.
