  • I think eating meat is more an eating disorder than fruitarianism!! Think about it- you're eating an animal's FLESH, as well as COW SECRETIONS, HEN PERIODS AND BEE VOMIT!!! These were not MADE for people- that's what fruit and vegetables were for!

  • I don't believe that you are a long term fruitarian without taking supplements. Your body would just not cope with it.

  • @RandomLevitation Oh, really?

  • @DrSpooglemon He proves it man. In the other video as well, look at the muscles on horses, primates and rhinos. They're fit, they're healthy. What do they consume? Hay, Fruit and raw leaves, all day. You can't be fooled into thinking that the body needs meat to survive. He's living proof. Haven't you seen the Leadville video? He has like 100 pounds of fruit that he consumes in 3 days and wins a 100 mile race. He runs 200 miles a week, He hasn't had an injury in like 12 years or something.

  • I don't know whether or not you have an eating disorder, but Wikipedia isn't the best source for what is or is not an eating disorder. Check out a copy of the DSM-IV. It's what doctors use to diagnose eating disorders, so it's the best source for what is and is not an eating disorder. It's a bit out of date and the DSM-V is about to be released, however. You'd have to look at the diagnostic criteria for whichever disorder you're questioning to determine if it applies.

  • 6 dislikes...? 6 muppets that need to carb up on fruit.

  • epic backdrop ! you make some quality vids my friend. good stuff !

    fruits and veg ftw !

  • What the heck is wrong with cooking?

You tell me in your other video that you avoid calories?

I DIE without those damn calories.

I enjoy fruit, cheese, meat, cooked and non cooked.

why is a hamburger bad? why is it bad for my health?

Yes I eat for stimulation, is that wrong?

A good meal is joy. damn it. I can cook very well and I tastes very good.

I like good food and eat untill I am full.

You are telling me that I am not healty?

I can run for hours without a problem, what am I doing wrong?

  • "It doesn't make logical sense to eat processed fast foods." ...in terms of health, that is correct. In terms of cost, that statement is wrong.

  • How do you get adequate protein with just fruits and vegetables?

  • @airplaneking Eat over 3000 Cal per day. Also, more nutrients (macro- & micro-) are absorbed from raw/living fruits than anything cooked. Just because what you cooked contains so much of x, y, z does not mean that your body absorbed all of it after you ate it. It is estimated that about 50% of iron in breast milk is absorbed by the infant digestive system. However, <10% of iron in infant formula is absorbed (perhaps they have a "new and improved" version that is better, but you get my point).

  • @airplaneking The state that food is in when you ingest it matters. The FDA's RDAs for all nutrients are based off of a cooked food diet that you can hardly get any nutrients from... I knock most of them out of the park anyways. The ones that I do not mind being below 100% are: cholesterol, saturated fat, total fat, sodium, protein, zinc, selenium. I absorb enough protein, zinc & selenium from my diet because my blood tests objectively show that I do. The others nutrients should be below 100%.

  • @airplaneking I do take a vitamin B12 supplement every once in a while & I monitor my serum B12, methylmalonic acid & homocysteine levels at least once a year. Do not be fooled into believing that your B12 and related levels are good because you eat animal meat and products. Search "USDA B12 Deficiency May Be More Widespread Than Thought" for an introduction to the truth, then read "Could it be B12?" by Pacholok & Stuart. I produce plenty of vitamin D because I get plenty of sun exposure.

  • Great video! I am a fruitarian for about 5 months and I like it very much. I have lost 20kg and gained a lot of energy. I am glad I found this video!! Uhu!! Frutarians ROCK!

  • Meh, I enjoy my omnivorism (I eat fast-food at about once per week, when I work...I eat a poutine)........and my sweet bacon.and, guess what? I'm as slim as you are. .........But seriously, do take vitamin pills?, because your diet has a serious lack of some vitamin/protein.

  • @Poodleinacan This guy, Mike Arnstein, 34, just won 1st place overall at the Vermont 100 mile ultra marathon in 15:26:20, 16-17 July. 300 people ran this race. And he got hit by a car ~6 weeks before. Now I call that THRIVING.

What do you do? Sitting on your ass playing video games... And you are supposedly only 19 years of age. You may be slim now, but when you are Mike's age... remember his message and perhaps you will apply yourself by then...

  • this guy reminds me of Charlie Sheen

  • 29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat:

The word of god tell us to eat fruits !!! Im a frutarian and the bible is absolutly right. im stronger and healthy than ever.

  • thank you so much for putting this out there

  • Eating healthy is seen as strange by the general public. We have been so brainwashed and fed the standard american diet for so long that natural, healthy foods seem foreign to us. It's quite a scary situation.

  • perfect

  • i love all your videos.. sometimes i wish that whenever people asked me all these questions that you answer in your videos about fruitarianism, i wish i could tell them to watch every video on your channel first lol

  • Im just curious, whats the avg type of dinner? fruit salad?

  • Consider there are people who label a non-meat diet a disorder, and it makes ignorant criticisms easier to get over.

They just want to feel OK about their diet. But deep down, some of them Know their diet is wrong.

  • @Gary1111001 Doctors should not label a non-meat diet a disorder, unless you're malnourished because you aren't following it properly. Eating disorders are to a large extent classified by how harmful the effects of your eating habits are to your physical and mental health. If your diet and eating habits are healthy, a psychologist or psychiatrist following the guidelines should not be diagnosing you as having an eating disorder.

  • if it does not apply let it fly my friend, not that serious...

  • your videos are the best keep it up! :)

  • But, I have to say... I'm concerned about health, and my intention was never to get skinny when I stopped eating. It seems that there's a blocking area in my brain... I'm an addict. and I do believe that every single personn has an eating disorder. "need to have my coffee" "I had a crappy day ; let's have ice cream" and on and on... You are probably the guy who is the least "eating disorded" in my opinion. 1 food at the time when hungry 'till full is the goal I think, to be free.

  • You touched really great points. I'm trying to recover from anorexia right now. I'm obsessed about food, I'm afraid of it, and I'm addicted to the empty feeling. What you experience is WHAT I WANT. I want health, I want to eat the best food I possibly can. Thanks a lot for your great videos you're a huge inspiration for me. You are the one, with thelivefoodist and doug graham (of course) that give me hope, that I can recover from my eating disorder. Thanks again. love you ! xxx

  • I love your video on this topic.

Obviously people classify eating raw like an eating disorder....and it's not a nice place to be "located"...

Well after all I don't even care a lot about others any more - it's the only way to live a good life. I suffered from Bulimia for many years - and noboy knew I was miserable. Now I feel great and people think I have an eating disorder?

    That's hilarious!!

  • Mike: it is all about IGNORANCE! Sadly we do live in the FAT Nation, I had been 85% or 100 % raw eating raw for 15 years. it is just a live style and a lot of reading about nutrition .
