I dont know whay they replaced the Supercharger that suit Best in Mini for a turbocharger I think that charger was a more unique aspect in the firsts versions of this car that was until come up turbo in the latest versions that was an epic fail in my opinion love that screaming roots :-D

@DerMitDemStern Das ist ein Kompressor. Das ist noch die alte Version des Cooper S mit Kompressor. Turbolade pfeift stärker. Ist in den aktuellen Cooper S wunderbar zu hören.

wicked car, but the new JCW (08+) is faster. i think the GP is supercharged rather then turbo. have to say though, the noise is something else.

Awesome special edition mini, starting to become cheap after four years! Theres one for sale at my local dealer for only £17,000 i think its no.52, not bad to say theres only 300 in the country!

I will always love the color setup on the GP. What a great little car. The new JCW is quite fun as well.

superchargered cars are better for track use, since you are always up at higher rpm's. Turbo's are more for drag racing.
