10/7/11 New Park New Rewards! Got me my first Silver Dollar Coin !

Hey there what cha trying to do? I'd listen to Yulelah as I have seen his videos and they are the real McCoy. I also have found a few silvers in my time and there's no way that Morgan was in that hole. Talk to me Hell Deep Digger in Seattle.

trade ya. I have three Walking Liberty half dollars, but never found a Morgan Silver dollar. LOL I have found those round parts to a mason jar, but didn't know what there where! damn, I better pay more attention if I find another one.

@Senegal01 I still havent found a half dollar yet, and want a walker bad! That was my first time finding a mason jar lid, also first time seeing that white porcelain top that goes inside it. There was also toy canon parts made of a pewter right in same spot buried. So I think it was a kid. Years ago there was homes in that side of the park, must of been a backyard. GL this year on getting a Morgan! HH

good for you i just got my first detector and today my first day after getting the hang of the machine i found 3 quarters , 2 dimes , 1 nickle, 3 pennys ''all clad'' and one very nice canadian 1910 large cent

Im sorry Son, but that was not a real Find. I have been detecting for over 20 years and have found many of silver coins in many differnet soil types, and none of them had dirt that came off that easy. Not being in the ground for so long..Great video thou..had me going!..HH>>Yulelah

Thanks I was shocked thought i was a walking Liberty, could not believe that it was a dollar. I didnt have to rinse it off or anything really. I think the lid was right on top of it and It was right next to a big tree with some roots under it kinda, I think thats why it was so good, still very surprised.

@Yulelah Thanks! I do feel really lucky, I never thought I would get that it a park area but I think There was homes there in the past in that part. It was right next to other homes next to the park. And once again digging around a big tree paid off. I think this park will get me some more silver and hopefully more.

@kcrone1 Its a public Park so you can dig there, you just got to put everything back the way you found it with a good plug so nobody has a reason to complain. That silver coin must have been protected to look so good, also was broken glass around that area to as a dug it, but thats normal in Parks.

OMG are you freaking kidding me?! lol. MAN thats an awesome find. I'd say the jar lid was masking the coin signal maybe thats why it was still there after all that time from other detectorist. People just do not find Morgans everyday. I'll probably never find one. BIG BIG BIG Congrats to you on yours! Amazing find.

Great job on the large silver! I'll bet 100 hunters passed that target up thinking it was trash or large iron. Then you dug the trash out to find the treasure. It's a good thing when you hunt this way. Always surprises. SWEET!!!

@mowerdog I dig almost all the trash targets cause I am using the Garret 150 so its not the best at all just a starter machine, I need to upgrade bad so I dont got to dig so much trash. This was a lucky thing, I think a kid buried with that gun toy right next to it. Thanks for the comment.
