Well, some covers are actually better than the originals. Take Ellen Page and Michael Cera's cover of Anyone Else But You by The Moldy Peaches in their movie Juno, I find their cover to be much better than the original. I favorited your cover of that song, but I would never do that with the original. The original isn't nearly as good. So, as you can see, just because it is an original, doesn't make it automatically better.
