  • Yes "A trial Lawyers Dream" ahah! Why wont the administration let it reach a trial? (shhh... dictatorship) diminishing civil rights... suspended constitutional rights... etc.

  • the telecoms are not to blame here, it is the goverment that forced them to break the law that is the villian here. why not sue the gov?...oh is that every lawyers wet dream?, never mind.

  • McCain says he's glad the guy was recording this so that he (the guy) could show all his friends where he, McCain, stands. And notice that every single comment beneath this video is against what McCain says! Not one republican (like the idiots clapping in the video) standing up for what McCain says. The republicans are so out of touch, so brainwashed by O'Reilly and Bush and the lot of them - it's scary that they can't think on their own.

Please everyone, vote. Let's get rid of these reps!

  • Lets protect the corporations, while we screw the Citizens of the USA.

  • 2008 is the new 1984.

  • Does that mean that the constitution is relevant only to the people whom live in the United States, and not the government that runs the country? at least that explains the manner in which Bush ran the country?

  • God these fucking idiots clapping in defense of the telecom companies "not getting sued".

If they didn't do anything wrong-they shouldn't be getting sued! Right?

Isn't that what we say about individuals when they do wrong? What is different about telecoms?

Why is this country so hateful towards individuals and so indifferent or supportive of groups, and corporations?

The ignorance and naiveness will hurt us...those people who clapped need to wake the fuck up.

  • Amazingly McCain is against a petition that says when the government or government corporations fuck up...they get repremanded.

    1-20-09...mahalo

  • Of course McCain supports immunity for Telecoms... he is wrong on everything else too.

  • Always glossed over is the fact that the Bush Administration requested the telecoms to monitor domestic communications without a warrant even before 9/11/01.

  • The cooperating telecoms have been allowed to expand, literally swallowing up most of the telecommunications industry, with DoJ rubber-stamping the deals, and even circumventing anti-trust investigations. Qwest, who didn't cooperate, has had their CEO imprisoned for insider trading (a selective prosecution), lost government contracts, and been dogged by DoJ at every opportunity. See Truthdig: Inside the Data Mine. There enough deep dirt and fertilizer here to plant a bush.
