  • hey,

    somebody with guts.

republicans used the filibuster, more than 100+ times,

and Obama tried to use bi-partisanship a bit too much

didn't he? he tried to go in-between too much, the republicans

filibustered many bills, like the fight for unemployment insurance, was filibustered, infrastructure and rebuilding, or jobs was filibustered also.

  • Howard Dean kicks ass on MSNBC?????? How does one kick ass on a network that has some of the lowest ratings and audience????

  • Howard Dean for President in 2012

  • (TOAFWDKSANT) Network

The old ass fossils who dont know shit about news turks

  • I couldn't believe when the media tried to bury Dean because of that "embarrassing" clip of him yelling at his rally. Talk about attacking on something so goddamn superficial instead of considering his policy suggestions.

  • Hey stupid Cheenk,,, Who is going to pay for all this shit?

  • even though i hate both parties, i like howard dean. at least he admits how he is. i like about 10 percent of each party, the rest should be fired.

    ron paul/dennis kucinich 2012.

  • so true! howard dean is the bomb!

  • @koolangeldude1 hahahaha he sure is a bomb! he self imploded, hahhahahaaha

  • Howard Dean is the MAN !

  • conceded much. i was saying "weaksauce" back in 03

  • wow thats 2!

  • weaksauce has been around forever, Love the show. But weak sauce was coined elsewhere

  • MSNBC? Is MSNBC a news channel that exists on some kind of cable public-access channel? Are there people lame enough to watch it?

  • LOL Yeah I heard "weak sauce" and was like "Woahhh"

But I've been hearing that term for a long time.

  • looks like Dean watches TYT!

  • Ana is hot!!!!!

  • She's not even in this video weirdo

  • @SupremePenguinTone

lol I know right! Some of these fools must watch TYT with one hand down their pajamas. Ick!

  • Smh

  • @

    MopacMurtaza

Tell us how you really feel. LOL . But I am from US and unfortunately agree with you for the majority of the nation. Palin gets elected and I'll have to move if I dont have a stroke :) Actually people are coming around on her ignorance and it's about time.

  • I know! I was like weak sauce? Isn't that TYT?

  • Nope I heard the term a longgg time ago

  • I was typing a comment about Rachel Maddow saying weaksauce when you mentioned it, Cenk. I thought it was hilarious.

  • barack obama was just assassinated. look on the news.

  • its not so much that the republican voters are stupid, but in general the whole country of America is one big piece of ignorance, pure ignorance, thats why people love Sarah P so much.

America is doomed, its dead, its gone. I have no investment in such a dumb country.

  • Republicans are the majority by the way....

  • Dean is too liberal for corporatist Rahm to work with and Obama is too weak to replace Rahm with Dean.

  • true

  • 2:59 - "reform the senate."

The U.S. senate strikes me as redundant - it's my understanding that at one time, senators were mainly appointed by the states, so they could be said to represent state-government interests in an almost ambassadorial fashion, as opposed to the "popular" function of the House of Representatives.

  • The Senate is a relic from the days when our leaders feared the effect of "too much democracy."

  • Imagine if Howard Dean hadn't made that noise. That god damn victory noise. THAT FUCKING NOISE. One high pitched pre pubescent cry of victory from Howard Dean and the 2004 election was lost. A ball gripping scream may have ruined this country.

  • There is a dire need for media literacy in the U.S.

  • I don't even see why that "rebel yell" sunk Dean's campaign. I didn't give a fuck other than chuckling the first couple of times I heard it. It didn't affect my view of Dean at all. He was still my choice for the 2004 Election and I was angry when he dropped out and that loser Kerry got the nomination.

I was even angrier when I found out that Rahm Emanuel was behind that turn of events and he was chosen to be Obama's Chief of Staff. That's when I officially knew what road Obama would take.

  • @A86 I remember watching post-'scream analysis' on fox news in 2004 (when i still regarded them as news) and they said that the scream was a sign of insecurity and lack of experience in leadership. I even bought the whole Kerry flip flopper line without even knowing it! Even if it isn't true, fox news is a masterful propaganda machine.

  • All that proves is you americans are really stupid.

  • It proves that most of us are stupid, not all. The sad truth is that most people in most countries are dumb America just happens to be number one in that department.

  • Americans are not anymore stupid than anyone else. And that's coming from a huge critic of US foreign policy. Its just your system...too hard for people with good ideas to change things and too easy to slide into warring red and blue camps and subsequently turn into raving tribalists. No two people have the same opinion about anything and yet someone thought it was a good idea to pretty much set a two party system in stone.

  • @UGOTDAJACK and this comment proves that you are racist/xenophobic.

  • It's from Qwantz, not Jesus.

  • Weak sauce! Is she gonna start saying "OF COUURSEEEE!!!" and "C'mon c'mon c'mon..." too? :P

    Long live TYT!

  • Weaksauce. tm - TYT 2010

  • BYAH!!!

  • go into the white house, chop that motherfuckin desk in half.......BYAH!!!!

  • ive been saying weaksauce for years, i want a shout out please

  • Howard Dean for president!

  • TYT did not come up with weak sauce, that shit has been around forever. FOR-EH-VER.

  • Howard Dean is saying what is on all the libs' minds. keep at it boy

  • i gotta be honest. i've had weak sauce in my vocab for years before tyt. still, tyt nation will dominate.

  • Howard Dean, Dennis Kucinich, Alan Grayson, Bernie Sanders.

At least one of those men had better be the finalist for the Presidency or this nation is through.

  • @A86 Howard Dean is Gen. George S. Patton for the Dems. Put him in place of R. Emanuel and he'll GLADLY Bitch Slap some CRY BABY Republicans in EITHER Houses.

  • Oh Please!....TYT claiming "weak sauce" is...well....er.....weak sauce......though we love TYT!....

  • I noticed immediately that she said weak sauce, Rachel Maddow is awesome.

  • lol TYT didn't invent weaksauce..

Its been around for probably moar than 10years on the internets

  • @damlurker Weak sauce has been part of the lexicon for as long as I can remember. I'm 35.

  • @damlurker He says he GOT IT from Jesus. And they use it on TYT. No invention here please.

  • Dean Kucinich 2012

  • The fuck? I've known people to use the term "weak sauce" for years before Youtube existed. No creative claims for you, TYT!

  • They're talking about it being used on a show.

  • He is only tough because the BBC kicks his ass

  • So why does Cenk think BO keeps Rohm? It aint cause hes stupid and it aint cause hes trying like heck to get stuff done...so what could it be,

  • Whats in a name? It's like the RW saying they're conservative! Just because they call themselves National Socialists doesnt mean they practiced socialism AT ALL! The were FACSISTS and the far right have the same ideologue without the holocaust. The GOP/far right just slay people they dont like due to skin colour, sexual orientation, different religion etc verbally rather than in death camps. Truth is, no one in the government atm is liberal they all - with few exceptions are corporatists.

  • They see this Cenk. and you knows it.

  • Ye go for Dean.., and hope it's not another trap for 4 years.

You all know Obama sounded the same and as I am sure many before them..

  • What's the fucking point of your logic?

How does aimless cynicsm gets us anywhere?

Would it be better if we all sat on our asses, twiddled our thumbs, and let Fox News run the country?

  • All I am saying is that has been a trap for as long back as I can see. Every time a democfrat gets elected they always fail. The republicans on the other hand actually do what they say. Give to the rich and make war.

It wont be better to roll your thumbs but might not be worse either. I definately think you need action but don't keep voting for the same two partys every year only cause they keep pulling out the traps.

    VOTE FUCKING DIFFERENT FOR ONCE!!!

  • You gotta vote in the PRIMARIES, THAT is where the real action is, THAT is where you can kick people like Lieberman out.

  • What the democrats and republicans do is play "BAD COP - GOOD COP" and you USA'ans fall for it every election year. It's so amazing to see you take the bait every time and then get trapped for four years rdy to forgive and forget when the next bait is laid out there.

Mabe Dean is a real good guy just like Grayson seem to be but honstly, if they where the REAL

  • ..good guys they would move to a different party.

  • It is not like here in Australia, or in Europe There is not proportional representation. There is a first past the post system, which means that you have a choice between to candidates that have a chance of actually winning.

  • Tim Kaine makes Michael Steel look good, lol, Dean was the most successful DNC Chairman in recent memory, captured congress, the presidency and most governorships, once he left they fell apart.

  • almost forgot lol weaksuace

  • everyone says they want bipartisanship (sounds nice) but when it come to certain issues (not many) your either left or right and that is when politicians need to make strong decisions with the understanding that they can't please everyone and Obama pretty much handled health care horribly I think we all can agree on that same thing with the stimulus ps i'm a democrat but should it matter

  • The difference with democrats v. republicans is Dems will criticize those of their party - including the president. The gop follow in lock step and even if they disagree with something they shut up and go along with it.

  • There is no leftwing in America... The leftwing are centrist at best.

  • Your right, the true leftists don't even get air time anymore. Where are the true green leaders or progressive social liberals. No where!

  • HOWARD DEAN, you da man!!!!

  • Dems are full of shit they are not going to change anything.!!!! PUSSIES!!!!.

  • weaksauce classic

  • LOL at delusional Dean

the small ideological minority are the far left progessive loons that he represents.

when are you nutjobs gonna realize that you leftwing liberal loons are NOT the majority and DON'T represent the country?

I mean are you liberal vermin delusional, crazy or just plain stupid?

  • so who is the majority? and who does represent your country? the ones who won the election? I thought that you were a democracy.

  • Republicans aren't doing much better. Most people are still pissed at Bush. Sarah Palin is the best you right wingers can come up with and she has to write on her hand to give speaches.... most swing voters these days would vote for a demacrat or not vote at all because Bush screwed up so badly. remember who caused the economic mess and job losses? it wasn't Obama.

  • Weaksauce has been around for at least a decade in the gaming world..

  • I'll say this again, Howard Dean should be in Obama's seat. The Reps AND Dems are afraid of Dr. Howard Dean.

  • I ABSOLUTELY AGREE. We need more spine. I agree. I think Howard Dean could do a great job. But I still love Obama. He is a little to nice. But he can surround himself with pit bulls. (With Lipstick if necessary)

  • Paging doctor Dean, Doctor Dean, please report to surgery to give the democrats a spine transplant...

  • I wasn't as full of "hope" about Obama as a lot of other Democrats I know, but I expected SOMETHING. But no. All that work put in by guys like Howard Dean to make the '08 victory possible, and this fool's blowing it.

  • @robertcornhole unfortunately I agree with you Obama needs to toughen up and lay the smack down on those wall street guys like he did recently with the republicans.

  • What you got was a tap on the brakes. What is needed is a full handbrake turn.

  • No one is happy with obama. He's turning into a complete disaster. As the chinese would say be careful what you wish for.

  • how old are you?

  • Older than you mr. mario.

  • Oh I must just have a proper education

See you said Obama is creating a disaster, no?

I don't see how that's even possible seeing that no one letting him pass his bills

  • He could get things passed if he and the rest of the party had any spine. Obama's disaster is the squandering of an opportunity.

  • He is not a disaster.

The disaster has been going on since way before he got in.

  • Lol, hitler was capitalist, he built up the german economy from the gutter and used capitalism to do it. Obama is progressive and he is much to capitalist for my liking. Politics as usual for everyone in washington.

    NOTE TO ALL UNINFORMED!!

RICH PEOPLE PAY MORE TAX THEN MORE PEOPLE!!

IF THATS SOCIALISM THEN YOU'VE BEEN SOCIALIST FOR HUNDREDS OF YEARS

  • The rich pay less taxes now then they ever have. It's pretty sad as they have so many loop holes that the uber wealthy 1% pay much less tax than 99% of Americans. When we need a bail out we are called failures, when wall street needs one they are savvy businessmen. UGH. See, Democrats will complain about their president not blindly follow him off a cliff. Sheesh.

  • Comment removed

  • what??

  • Nothing is being forced upon you. Obama is acting much like Bush! Oh and because his name is 'funny' and his middle name is Hussein does not mean shit. If that's the best the right/gop have then that party is fucked. If the best you guys have is his middle name - and a Kenyan father that's just pathetic. My kids were born in Australia - but guess what - they were born AMERICANS because of ME.

  • right they all watch Fox /facepalm

  • If the progressives in the mold of Howard Dean ever take back the Democratic Party I'll gladly lend the Democrats my support (I'm a Green). Sadly the New Democrats (aka corporatists) run the DNC.

Gotta love the good New England people of Vermont for electing Dean, Bernie Sanders, and Patrick Leahy. The most liberal state in the nation.

  • tehant1liberal - odd that you jump straight to your hero, Hitler, because I remember another "progressive radical" from about the same time named Franklin Roosevelt. Seems to me he gave Hitler the blues.

  • @tehant1liberal

Do you even have any clue at all as to what your talking about?

  • Except Hitler was extreme RIGHT - not liberal or progressive. And talking about doing stuff RIGHT NOW - what did the GOP/Bush admin do for 8yrs? Damn the people and several hundred thousand people lost their lives. Looks like you're thinking of the RW - not libs.

  • It's already been said but it was a liberal (FDR) who fucked up the fascists of Europe while the conservatives of the time (people like Chamberlain and Sen. Taft) wanted to keep giving in to the far right Nazis. As usual it took left-wingers like Roosevelt to clean up the mess made by the right-wing.

  • Dont forget Grandpa Bush was and other RW dynasty families like Ford were supporters of the Nazi's and did business with the Nazis even during WWII! To this day that family is treasonous!

  • @tehant1liberal

Hitler was NOT a liberal, nor was he a progressive.

Hitler and the NAZI were right wing. Hell, neo-nazis in the US now are still right wing!

I'm going to assume you got this piece of special craziness from Glenn Beck. He's 1 Fox show away from standing on a corner with a tinfoil hat!

  • Theantiliberal is a fucking retard. I wouldn't bother trying to correct him.

  • You are such a fuckin' tool.

  • Why is Howard Dean no longer the DNC chairman? He was the only Democrat who could actually get something done.

  • Howard Dean for 2012

  • weaksauce is a world of warcraft term, meep

  • Really? I didn't know that.

  • i feel sorry for americans. they really think their political parties make a difference. they dont know theyre all in the same boat, both dems and republicans. the dems have a majority power yet theyre not using it and their excuse is that theyre weak and not strong to take decisions. well fuck me then why did you come in office? jesse ventura said it nicely. us politics is like pro wrestling. not a real sport, just sports entertainment. thats us politics, nothing but acting.

  • That man speaks the truth.

Howard Dean and Rachel Maddow are awesome. Definitely not weak sauce.

  • Dam, before cenk pointed it out, Rachel Maddow using weak sauce instantly caught my eye lol. I love Maddow, she's the truth, like the only serious news commentator that does her job right.

  • its likely that obama never wanted health care reform, he has shown ZERO leadership on this and many other important issues after the campaign. so its no wonder that a bill he liked was nothing but a bailout for the HMOs, while the meager benefits are set to never really take effect. the mans' a fraud

  • My water polo coach always said weak sauce...

  • lol @ cenk's impressing of some right wing idiot

  • You can't start benefits immediately, you simply can't. You could start it sooner than 2013/2014, I'd argue mid 2011 - early 2012 is enough time. But, if you are going to go through private insurers you have to allow them the opportunity to restructure their business model. If you impose it immediately, it will be a disaster because they need to prepare to deal with the structurally change of the system - you'll have chaos if you don't give them time to adjust.

  • They see it!!!....Like the late great Michael Jackson said "they don't really care about us".

  • Howard Dean is the man.

  • Indeed.

  • The president's men and women are during what President Obama wants.

    We have a WEAK president.

  • I smell someone running... and I would vote for him at this point.

  • yeauuugh!!!

  • GO DEAN GO!

  • WEAKSAUCE!!!!

  • Fellow Tubelers,

Howard Dean is a threat, to legislators. Had the DNC kept him, legislation would pass. They keep their mouths shut, while Republicans are openly hypocritical, both taking money(bribes).

There are many ways, and excuses to avoid beneficial legislation, and both parties have their own styles. Reconciliation would work. Why is the Democratic Party not utilizing it?

The Democrats are content to be called spineless, while taking special interest money.

    It be it!

  • What time is it playing live in Sweden -.- ?

  • Do Democrats REALLY want reform? Of course not! Just look at who's stuffing Obama's pockets.
