You should probably listen to the recording of it on the record if you think its slow. His fills always stay in time, i think he's a really solid drummer, but that 's my opinion.

Either that, or he was still learning to sing here. I remember reading an interview from 1987 where he discussed that he was working very hard (and had been for the last year or two) on learning to sing correctly.
