  • The LoG is so brutally realistic with some of the themes. Like when uou can see the slightly nerdier, autistic looking kid at 22:48 really paying attention and in engrossed by it. Most shows wouldnt go that far but i suppose the LoG just has that darker side to it and is why it never went past cult status. Still shits on Little Britain

  • aww the denton girls are so cute

  • stella's flamin GROGEOUS. no idea how charlie could ever fall out of love with her.

    fiery

  • brilliant.....

  • Turn it off mum, I don't want to watch it!

  • A member of the audience sounds like a fecking duck..

  • @henrygsterling I think Reece has said that that laugh is from Jimmy Carr. Yes, that Jimmy Carr.

  • Fuck this is so similar to the fucking Northern shitehole I've lived in for the past 2 years.

  • Can anyone else hear that fucking annoying laugh?

  • @matsocool no, see a doctor

  • @9:17 Oh my god, too funny!

  • why is he so fudging pale?

  • that school sketch is the funniest thing ever :P haha

  • I actually had a Theatre group like that come to my middle school once...If only I new the magic of TLoG then, I may have actually laughed... :(

  • @heythisisBETH

It wasn't called Cragrats by any chance?

  • @anonUK omg Cragrats came to my school once! :]

  • wot bout AIDS!!!!!!!!!!!11 HAHA

  • I wonder if those little girls had any idea how creepy they were being.

  • "Shaking hands with the governor of love."

  • c.09:13 I'm sure Reece is trying not to laugh.

  • Fuck BT, Fuck these damn adverts. Fuck R' Murddoch.

  • "HOW D'YOU SEE?"

  • @ruthsomething shave*

  • if i have to watch that advert one more time, i'm going to kill somebody. the number of times i've had to refresh it to try and get it to play through and not freeze so i can watch the fucking show.. when they do eventually load, they play perfectly without freezing, so do they deliberately make the adverts larger so they take longer to load or what? and i already have fucking sky :@

  • I can't watch any more of this, these advertisments are pissing me off

  • @lovetheatre100 Agreed but I've decided not to let the bloody things bother me anymore.

  • There are a lot of negative comments, why do people continue to watch stuff they don't like?

  • haha i love those twin girls - so evil!

  • it origonally was 5 episodes , but the characters were so good they had to carry on!

  • why is it the bbc, a non-commercial organisation, has adverts on it's channel?

  • @RWJ11 google bbc worldwide, there not BBC.

  • @RWJ11 Because this is available WORLDWIDE, and those not in Britain haven't paid the license fee, which is why the BBC can afford no advertisements in the first place.

  • Anyone notice the cock drawn on the blackboard?

  • I'm gonna set up a roundabout zoo

  • I'd caught clips of this show on TV now and again and liked it, and I remember seeing the Christmas special one Christmas and finding it both hilarious and terrifying.

Now today I'm making my way through the episodes here on Youtube, and I'm absolutely loving it. This show treads the line between horror and comedy very effectively. The part with the vet talking into the dictaphone was like something out of an H. P. Lovecraft story.

  • 2 star hotel...

  • 0:01

  • we've got reruns of

    Seinfeld

here to wipe are arse on

  • i cant believe only 9000 ppl have watched this. i own the dvds and consider this show one of the best british comedies ever. its well written and i cant think of a single show thats its ripping off. it is its own show.

  • Didn't notice the cock on the blackboard before

  • If they don't like it, they can go kill themselves like mum did!

Possibly my favourite line in any sitcom =D

  • I love the twins XD

  • the number of dislikes on this video shows how good this show is

  • Best bit = HOW DO YOU SHAVE?!?!? ..... lmao everytime

  • why has tube become SO FU==ING BORIN I am so sick of adds that drag on and on and on I just wnat to see what i clicked on .Look at all the empty white space on the screen put the shit there instead.

  • i remember these awful theatre groups at school, exactly like these.

  • I think there is some sort of bird on the canned laughter...

  • The Scarecrow sketch was funnily terrifying xD

  • best comedy show out of britian in a long long time

  • listerine

  • "we get all kinds in here, gays, straights, LESBIANS!!!" hahaha League of Gentlemen is awesome XD.

  • that guy who owns the satanically local shop looks like a sim I made. I deleted him.

I tink I saw him at the end of my bed holding a shove; the other night.

  • Comment removed

  • the legz akimbo guy, ollie is a spot on observation of the kind of people you get going into schools to do drama workshops. just the tone of voice and phrases.

  • wish there was no canned laughter... it really doesn't suit it.

  • lol @ ' bumpy writing'.

  • @youtubinfool: the laughter is recorded with an audience watching this episode, they do it at Bradford Television Museum. Whereas most of 60's, 70's and 80's American shows have 'canned laughter' that's the audience reaction from The Milton Berle Show... strange but true

  • I hate how they've added canned laughter..

  • Oh... pure unadulterated class. :)

  • Saw these live in Lodon, this is one of the best shows ever.

really gonna have to watch them all again.

twisted geniuses the lot of them :)

  • @Superapplefrog It's called having a sense of humor, no doubt you find everything 'funny' about crappy american TV. Your loss.

  • @Siccuspiscis thanks for the excellent informative advice. Now spot the sarcasm. I have a sense of humour, I love watching comedy shows and listening to comedy on the radio. The key word here is "comedy" - this video isn't comedic. And way yo contradict yourself in your first line!

  • @Superapplefrog If you'd care to read my post again, the word funny was in inverted commas . Now, with that said, let's see if you can spot the sarcasm.

  • @Siccuspiscis easily spotted, still irrelevant

  • @Superapplefrog Very relevant considering your point was that I missed the sarcasm of your post, whilst in actuality you had missed the initial sarcasm of mine.

  • @Superapplefrog

The characters are comedic. Most of the lines are comedy. There's even pratting around in comedy shoes for all you fans of traditional American sitcoms. How exactly is this not comedic?

  • @Superapplefrog its called dark comedy, it not for everyone

  • @jew117 it's not comedy at all. As evidenced by the comment about canned laughter - canned laughter is there to make people laugh when something isn't funny

  • @Superapplefrog you are joking..! no pun intended

  • @violethigh77 no i'm not.

  • @Superapplefrog the programme is shown to an audience, it's not canned laughter, but it would be better without

  • lol madam palm and her five lovely daughter what an awesome way to say it =p

  • holy moly...was this really 10 years ago????

  • i wish there was a roundabout zoo in my village lmao

  • loved the leauge ov gentelmen, miss it on tv

  • Nice to see Don Estell as the zoo keeper.

  • ... dykes on the other hand are evil

  • "It's a big fat lezzer, wearing my slippers, smoking my pipe. Don't touch me ya poof!" Lol, I like when he goes randomly psycho.

  • i live there!! :O its called hadfield we wasnt aloud out of our houses while they was recording

  • "is not werth it Luigi""

You always see couple like this - constantly bickering. Why the fuck don't they just split up lol.
