I honestly don't know how can someone dislike this.

Keep up with this progress,i am looking forward to see another progress and imagine how you walk like a normal person but with pride of journey you had to pass to walk.

    p.s.

u are cute and hot too :)

    Greetings from Croatia.

  • Pure inspiration

    Regards from Germany,

    Ruediger

  • Merry Christmas, heartbreaking movie, can't wait for the final 'feel goed' movie!

  • What determination!

  • Congrats and may you live the happiest life from now on as I am sure you will be able to do a full recovery.

  • I wish her a quick recovery! This is really heart touching =(

You're amazingly beautiful and beautifully amazing.

  • You became hotter throughout the years ;)

  • you are amazing!!

  • Look at how strong a human can be when you have the motivation and support

  • girl, what have happened to you?

  • This is great showing how hard work and determination CAN pay off. @everfresh59 please understand not every injury is the same and no matter how hard one tries some injuries are just more severe then others and without medical intervention to repair damaged nerve tissue one may never have the ability to walk.

  • I think I've found my hero.

  • It's amazing what a piece of music can do to a video.

  • Saw this on Break.com.. Awesome story, keep up the hard work. You are a huge inspiration

  • 10 people are heartless robots

  • She is a fighter!

  • keep up the great work your an inspiration never give up it is gonna happen just takes baby steps to recovery.

  • youre amazing! NEVER GIVE UP!

  • firstly well done for getting back on your feet :) I think this really shows just how hard it is to just simply walk, i find it amazing that in the beginning you have to learn this all your self. Oh and slightly harsh comment but it was one of the things that poped into my head , "worlds hardest game of qwop"

  • Truly inspiring. Congratulations on persevering.

  • how are there dislikes on this -_-

  • Wow, this is excellent, congratulations, I hope you recover fully and quickly.

  • You have made me very grateful for what I have. Good luck with your recovery! X

  • PRAISE GOD. I'm not just saying that to annoy the person saying bad things about God and Christianity or whatever it is they are against. Everyone deserves to believe what they want to believe. I am a Christian, and I believe God played a role in helping this girl get better. YES, the people who have helped throughout this play a HOGE role in her recovery. I'm not saying they do not, I simply want to get my opinion out there that God is real and loves this girl and has helped heal her.

  • @AsianBaby1290 so by your logic 'God' hates africans

  • @AsianBaby1290

Get your opinion out there on a video that is about your idea, not a video showing the perseverance and awesomeness of one woman. If anything, you should praise her and the doctors that saved her legs and helped her walk. And if God is so 'great' why did he let her get hurt anyway?

You DON'T think people should believe in something else, if you did you wouldn't have felt the need to say 'Everyone deserves to believe what they want to believe'

PRAISE LUNA! No, praise the doctors.

  • @Kitsune1414 I said everyone deserves to have their own opinion, and they do. I was not trying to convince anyone else to believe the way I do. I was simply saying mine. So I shouldn't be getting crap for what I think, I never said God did it by himself, the girl and the docorts worked hard for this too. And as for God letting accidents happen to people, how are we supposed to learn if we do not? We would not mature in our faith and learn for our actions. He lets everything happen for a reason.

  • @AsianBaby1290

Why would he allow one woman to walk while not allowing thousands of people food for dinner every night? If God was so loving he'd allow people food and not murder thousands of babies because of poor living conditions. He'd give amputees their limbs back and not let a single baby be born with a defect. We learn by our mistakes but what kind of god would let them be deadly or leave you maimed or paralyzed?

Thank the Goddess for the world.

Thank the doctors for your health.

  • @Kitsune1414 God gives people free will, they have to seek him before he can help them.

  • @AsianBaby1290

That's horrible reasoning and makes your god look even worse than it did already. My mom doesn't ask me if I need food, she knows I do and gets it for me. I don't need to 'seek her' before she can help me. All good parents feed you and give you shelter. Isn't Yahweh supposed to be out 'heavenly father'? More like an abusive one to me.

  • @Kitsune1414 People sinned, we made the mistake way back in the garden of eden. God punished them by sending them out of it. Now there will forever be sin in the world until God sends for the Christians to go to Heaven with him for 7 years. Then he will create a new earth where we will live. Until then, God isn't going to baby anyone. If we made the choice to stray from God's path we will recieve concequences. He loves everyone and does not want bad things for them, but everyone must learn.

  • @AsianBaby1290

    So...lets say this:

There are three children. Two belong to a loving mother and one is a friend. The mother made cookies. She put them on the counter to cool and turned to the kids "You can eat all the cookies here but not here." So she left. The friend said to the others "That's weird, why would she let you eat all these cookies but not these? They don't look very special." The little girl agreed and took a cookie. The boy said they shouldn't eat them but the girl replied:

  • @AsianBaby1290

"Momma let's us eat the other cookies, why not these?" the boy agreed and he ate a cookie. The friend ate one too. The mother came home and saw what they did. She flew into a rage, beat all of the children, threw them out of her house and let the starve. Then she did the same for all her children's decendents. Does that sound like a loving mother?

  • @Kitsune1414 True, that isnt exactly a loving mother. But lets say the situation was more extreme, say she told them not to rape and they did it anyway because the were temped by someone or something. Should she have pity on them just because she is their mother? Not at all. That is wrong, and to right that wrong they would have to be responsible for their own actions. Parents cannot always hold a childs hand through their mistakes.

  • @AsianBaby1290

But parents shouldn't curse their grandchildren for the their parents' mistakes. Eve didn't rape anyone, she ate and apple that made her aware of the difference of good and evil. How is that wrong? No wonder America is so stupid, god doesn't want us to be knowledgeable. He wants us to be stupid and easier to control.

If, say a father, raped a woman, should his son, who had nothing to do with act be punished? No.

And if god is so powerful, why doesn't he just keep us on the path?

  • @Kitsune1414 It all boils down to free will, which God gives us. He does not want us to be his puppets.

  • @AsianBaby1290

Really? So...free will will get us into hot shit if it isn't used the way god wants it but if you join the cult of Jesus, you're not a puppet, you're just doing what god tells you to. Sounds like 'If you don't listen to Mommy she'll take all your clothes, toys, friends and cut your hair then kick you out into the cold. But! If you do what Mommy says you'll have the bestest life ever! You'll also be her slave." Sound fair?

  • @Kitsune1414 I don't have the answer to everything, and I cant make you believe what I believe but if I was to be completely honest. What you just said is truth, a extremely overdramatized truth, but truth. Free will does get many people in trouble, someone makes a bad choice they face bad conciquences. They bring those on themselves though. God does not do it to them.

  • @AsianBaby1290

You don't have to answer everything and you can't make me believe? But isn't that what god tells you to do? So the people of Africa did it all to themselves? They brought upon the food crisis, water crisis and AIDS epidemic onto themselves? Completely innocent babies who had never done anything wrong dying because of what some mud-lady did? Or because of god's incompetence? Hmm. . .

  • @Kitsune1414 God is the same, We have to go to him for forgiveness for our sins. He always forgives. He loves no matter what, but if you walk a path that is not what he has planned for you he cannot be there for you when something goes wrong unless we truely seek him with all of our hearts.

  • @AsianBaby1290

Also, god is okay with rape. Say so right in the Bible!

  • @Kitsune1414 Even earthly fathers punish children, so they will learn from their actions.

  • Good luck

  • Signed in just to wish you the best of luck.

  • Amazing. Good luck. And doctors bless.

  • great job, wish best health for u from iran ;)

  • Tell her that I love her for being what she is at this moment! I just have no words. I want to hug her one day.

  • This person is a beautiful and strong woman. Keep up the good work. You're motivation makes us want to be more like you. Seeing that I'm thinking that we must never give up on life even if it's hard !!! Love you girl \(♥_♥)/

  • I am glad that you are making such good progress. Thanks for sharing.

  • Gorgeous woman! Let the recovery keep going well :)

  • I think the most amazing thing about this video is that in almost all the clips she is there smiling, displaying a fantastic attitude and example of determination that all of us should try to replicate within our own lives. Well done!

  • starker Wille! zeigt dass man niemals aufgeben sollte! viel erfolg noch auf deinem weiteren weg!

  • Stay stubborn, stay strong, and keep up the fight!

  • It's absolutely astounding what a motivated person can accomplish, even in the face of paralysis.

  • Congratulations on your recovery! You show a lot of strength and determination, and I hope things continue to improve for you. Also, awesome music selection!

  • whats the song in the begging ?

  • wow congratulations on all the progress!

  • I wish this would happen to my dad. But I'm really happy it's happening for some people. :D

  • John Locke

  • @IStevieI You're ignorant.

  • @IStevieI people like you should not have kids

  • This shit is lame!

  • @IShutupayouface

There's a special place in hell for people like you.

  • @IShutupayouface troll harder faggot

  • Not modern medicine or science.... it's just 110% concentrated power of WILL. Kendall, you are youthful exuberance personified.... thank you for reminding me about determination and mind over matter.

  • @everfresh59

Of fucking course this was due to science and modern medicine.

  • @everfresh59 actually physical and occupational therapy (which is what the whole video showed ) is under modern medicine/science, just not under the category of drugs.

  • well i sure hope that she will walk properly very soon ..since i cannot really say that this was walking what i just saw.

  • Her smile at 3:40 is the best part of this video to me.

    "This is actually happening."

  • I'm not crying. It's just raining, on my face.

This is so amazing I can hardly believe it! I didn't think such recovery was possible, this is absolutely stunning!

  • Someone just threw an onion through my window and it hit me right in the eyeball.

  • @ISHYGDDT I cannot Thumbs this up anymore. Your point is very well may.I cannot agree with it more. I am happy to see that people like you still exist. Thank you for posting this comment.

  • @AMurderOfTurtles I agree!

  • @ISHYGDDT Amen...

  • @ISHYGDDT Remarks like yours are the reason why I wish Youtube would just remove the capability of commenting on videos once and for all. Thank you and the 60 or so others who agree with the expressing YOUR OPINION on a video in which the subject has nothing to do with YOU or YOUR OPINION. When you get older, I hope you can learn to keep peace by just simply shutting your mouth and understanding it's a big diverse world out there.

  • @ntreeg are you being serious right now ? something you need to accept is that god doesn't exist. he was purely made up by the human race. hes not going to not post the fucking comment if he thinks one person is going to be offended by it, go be offended somewhere else because no one fucking cares

  • @ISHYGDDT u mad atheist fag?

  • @TheMMATron gtfo, you all americans suck. how is it even possible to believe in a "god" in the year 2011? fucken srsly.

Also, reddit is a shithole filled with preteens

  • @TheMMATron he/she just said he/she wasn't atheist. u dumb fag?

  • @Lidgoi He isn't a dumb fag, he's just a close-minded Christian, that's all.

  • @ISHYGDDT Atheism isn't a bad word.

  • @hyfyv I know, but I'm not an Atheist. If anything I'm an Ignostic/Agnostic. I don't really care if there is a "god" or not. I don't spend any of my time contemplating these kinds of things since frankly I do not care. However I do find it ridiculous when people thank an entity of which the existence has yet to be proven instead of science and the medical professionals that have dedicated years of their life to help others.

  • @ISHYGDDT YES YES AND MORE YES!

Sorry for the caps, but I am completely sick and tired of hearing people praise "GOD" for a "miracle" that a DOCTOR performed using his/her training and education.

If you fly off a cliff and live, praise god.

You have open heart surgery and live, praise the fucking doctor.

  • @pjlehan I am personally offended! I am stydying medicine, and if I hopefully graduate, it will be my biggest complement if a patient praises God for recovering, for him to see me as a tool for the good by the divine!

Unless you are a doctor, or is studying medicine, please retract that stupid statement of yours.

  • @pjlehan And oh yeah......Praised be God for her recovery!

  • @ISHYGDDT your not even an atheist.. "atheism is simply the absence of belief that any deities exist"

  • @ISHYGDDT sometimes, doctors can't even explain how people are cured.

  • 2:50 awwwwww yeahhhhh!!!!

  • this is amazing work! great job to the team that kept her motivated!

  • science bitch...it works

  • religion for the win! oh..wait.

  • How did anyone hit the dislike button WTF?

  • It's great that everyone wants to praise science over God here... That's fine, but 2 of my best friends are physical therapists and a 3rd is a physiatrist (aka a rehabilitation doctor). What I hear most about from is how many people simply give up and have no interest in rehabilitation. My point: What's really triumphing here is the human spirit.

  • @Jaws8u as a "devout" Atheist, I approve of this message.

  • @Jaws8u Ah, I was afraid that I was the only one who saw that. I wouldn't call it God though. Intension. Determination. Motivation. You create your own reality and she decided to create the imposible. Don't ever tell this girl that anything is impossible!

  • @Jaws8u @Jaws8u Many people can't make it through PT because they cannot push through the pain and foster the mental outlook that change is possible. The biochemical processes at work in our bodies are empowered by the mind. Feel fear and you will dump adrenaline, feel happy and you will dump serotonin and dopamine. Positive feelings produce +biofeedback and allow for healing pathways to activate.

Science is a tool, the body a machine, but the spirit is the engine that moves us.

  • deserves it

  • I got chills down my spine watching this. In a good way!

  • I honestly have no comprehension how one person could dislike this video, let alone 8. Truly screwed up people out there.

  • Iron god damn will and some god damn glorious physio therapists.

  • Pure strength!

  • you're great!

  • Incredible! You just made my day.

  • @criticrania you haven't commented on this video!

  • Wow, how fortunate to have such resources available to you. Glad you have the resources to expand this program's availablility–That's the way to put your hand back after you've gotten yours!

  • nice!!!

  • did she have an accident or what?

    good luck for ur future!

  • I’m so proud of the human race, and it truly is a pleasure to see such strength, not to mention she is a beautiful woman and maintained that throughout her incredible struggle. Congrates and never stop pushing to reach that next milestone.

True strength comes from within, wither you believe in your religion or yourself, the most important thing is, for you to rise to challenges and overcome them.

  • Lady... YOU !@#$ing ROCK!

  • Medical science is amazing sure but without her incredible willpower it would have been for naught.

  • Amazing to see something like this! Best of luck in the future

  • There is no God. There are human beings and our Earth. We should be thankful for each other.

  • @yexey Jesus was a simple carpenter. I doubt he could perform complex surgeries. Plus, he died over 2000 years ago I don't see how he could be helping them with their work.

  • @NzLeet

    News Flash! Jesus = God.

Don't hate the player, hate the gamer!

  • @yexey Isn't God the gamer then? :|

  • @yexey Years of training in today's medical schools guided those doctors hands. Praise the medical professionals!

  • My best man just became paralysed. Thanks for posting this vid, it makes me feel much more hopeful for his recovery, and gives me a handle on the amount of work and time required. I hope yours recovery continues.

  • I'm not sure this is the correct place to have religious debates. Let's just focus on the hope this woman can provide to us all as well as Project Walk itself.

  • @radardog1 anyone saying "thank god" is out of line though. I mean shit.. THANK GOD SHE WAS INJURED RIGHT?! because that's what God's plan was.. right?! No.. This is all medicine, and anyone claiming God had ANYTHING to do with this will be noted down as an idiot.. (and should be thrown on a desolate island somewhere)

  • No amount of pray could do this!

  • all the science is great and all, but the human will and heart is what made this possible!

  • MUST RESIST URGE TO FAP...

  • Just wanted to say, you brought a tear to my eye. I can't imagine how it must feel to be told you'll never walk again. I've never had the pleasure to meet someone with as much strength as you do. Maybe someday, I'll be lucky enough to.

  • 2:28 in the guy is just staring at her ass.

  • This is truly amazing. Having worked in rehab I know how hard people like her work so see improvement like this. Congratulations on returning to walking, I hope you see the continued improvement you deserve in the future!

  • @roadrunner73 and @neocon70 REDDITORS. <3

  • Blame God for the crash, thank her mental strength and science for her recovery.

  • Well, what if god helped the people help her? There's a midnfuck for you.

    Theists 1

    Atheists 0

  • @herpderpeton False, god was too busy giving AIDS to children in Africa.

  • @herpderpeton its their job. no
