Lol Here in Canada you cant legally get this airsoft gun, but you can get the real steel version chambered in 5.56. 3000$ though.

And secondly, They make axe/hammer/Pickaxe handles out of fiber polymer, and have for a while nowadays. the current Fiber polymers are actually rivalling wood in terms of flexibility of use, and ability to take shock loads, while they are not much weaker than steel in tensile strength (while having better ease of manufacture than both).

The tavor should easily be a durable enough gun for the Israeli Military. End of story.

The Tavor 21 Is more Accurate then the Ak-47 but the AK-47 Packs a more powerful punch. It's amazing how great this gun is for a Gun that was created in the Middle East.. They arn't known for the best Gun manufactorers ya know...

I have never really heard anything bad about guns designed in the Middle east before, especially another Israeli design, the Uzi.

What I was commenting on was somebody saying that the gun might break if dropped from high up, or if it was hit by another gun. I was saying that the only gun I would not expect to break like that is the Ak-47.

In terms of power/accuracy, the Tavor is for all intensive purposes, an M-16. Same round, same barrel length. Less power, more precision than the Ak-47.

It is because of the internals. You can on-the-spot change your spring, to heighten, or lower the fps. I think the UFC version MARS scope is permanently attached to the rifle.

You can try checking the MichiganAirsoft forum. A reliable member contacted ARES and got the USA release date and information on the rifle. It's supposed to $500 USDs. There is the TSI Armories version comming out too.
