guys, i have done this 3 times and im scared to death, do i have some serious damages? i didnt do the choke hold i did the one where you put pressure on the chest and so on but i nevver passed out and i have never hit anything with my head. please tell me if i have some injuries!!
I am SO scared, im going to donate plasma tomorrow and last time i got a shot i passed out just from bein so queezy about needles. I know this is going to happen to me. =/

@TheTxturtlelytiger are you dumb? you pass out while giving blood because your blood sugar is LOW. so they give you a drink (ie.soda) to give you sugar back. ice packs have nothing to do with low blood sugar.

First you check in and get your questionaire form with ur info on it , if all goes well then u get assessed for your hemacrit (iron) and blood pressure for anything OUT OF THE ORDINARY. I passed out my first time giving blood - I was actually fine whilst giving blood but then after when I was all unhooked and being given juice and biscuits, I went completely whappy and just collapsed. My mum ended up eating my biscuits for me.
I tried giving blood yesterday and I passed out. I didn't know this but apparently it happens on average once a week in many donation centers across the country. :)
You will see so many of that kind of scene when you go to the process of enlistment in the Military and that gives permanent stamped to all those passed out, DISQUALIFIED for armed service.
@diperdandey ya! i was there once and saw this kid passed out after they draw some blood from him, and after came back up consious,he was asked to go down stairs and have him re-evaluated...We asked him what happened after, he said: the navy recruiting barr his name and could no longer undergo the enlistment process, PERMANENTLY.. he didnt eat anything for breakfast on that day when we were scheduled for our medical/physical test. maybe that must have cost him to passed out.
I'm giving blood tomorrow as well. A bit more scared now at the size of the damn needle. Does it hurt?

I almost passed out last month when I gave blood 4 the first time. I wasn't
Lightheaded but was super hot and felt
Really tired. And I think maybe it was due to me squeezing that thing to much which made my bag fill up super fast

I passed out my first time giving blood - I was actually fine whilst giving blood but then after when I was all unhooked and being given juice and biscuits, I went completely whappy and just collapsed. My mum ended up eating my biscuits for me.
