There's no official announce about it, so there isn't a third season project yet.

It's possible that GROUP will show up if we're shown some of the events of Volume SS. The trailer for the season suggested that Terra of the Left and Acqua of the Back are going to appear, which would mean that we're going to see at least Volumes 12, 13, and 14 in the remaining eight episodes of the season, and since SS is between 13 and 14, it's a definite possibility. I don't think we'll see Volume 15, though, since we haven't seen any sign of Kakine Teitoku.

I don't think that Terra and Acqua are going to appear in the next episodes...

As I know, three episodes will be from this arch where Touma and Accelerator change lolis,

and the other five episodes will be from the arch with Kihara and Accelerator.

Terra and Acqua appeared at the PV, but maybe not in this Index's season.

About GROUP and the SSs, there're more possibilities of OVAs or maybe a movie (who knows).

I just know that we have to wait for a surprise...
