The way a worm eats is it goes in one end (eating) and out the other almost immediately...kind of like a straw...so thinking it will eat in the second tray and poop in the first cannot happen.

Stackable systems simply allow you to rotate the ones on the bottom for the ones on top after they have been used up. Start with the bottom pan and put all your start up stuff in it...and scrap vegetable matter...after a couple or 3 weeks put the second on with the same mix and rotate.

  • Great video very helpful. You guys seem to be having fun. my can didn't come with the hemp mat

  • hey there, that way my instruction manual sai dto place my food scraps on the farm....is to place the second working tray and then put the scraps in that, so te worms will come up into the second tray and eat there, depositing their castings in the first tray....But every single video I see, says to put the scraps right on top of the coir bedding with the worms in it... What do I do!??! Im going to put the scraps on the coir bedding for now, makes most sense to me.
