Yes, I believe it plays after you beat Ironhead.

@n00byneko Guess it makes sense. Ikachan is believed to use a very early version of the Cave Story engine.

It did, actually. It is known as "White" in the final version, and replaces the main menu theme if you beat the Sacred Grounds in a certain amount of time.

Err, scratch that. White is actually a different track that sounds similar to this. I just didn't notice it until later. ;^_^
