  • i want to hear it without hitting the plate. and perhaps something else to compare...

  • Now thats a can!

  • Is that a delay in the audio or am I hearing the hammer drop?

  • @dirtcurt1 i think he may be shooting a metal plate. hear the delay?

  • it's stil loud

  • @cursegrindattack yup... silencers don't silence guns to a "fwip" like in hollywood movies

  • USP!!!!!!

  • loud as fuck

  • A quote from a video game I like to use when mentioning silencers/suppressors. Might be a little exaggerated, but should still be pretty universal.

"M6S -- whisper-quiet with armor-piercing rounds. Brutes might see us coming, but the only thing they'll hear is their asses hitting the ground."

  • Youtube is fixed?

  • so thats how suppressors sound like cowbells hmm who knew?

  • @IronmanLE1 thats the sound of the bullet hitting a metal target

  • More Cowbell? Seriously? That's the # 1 comment?

  • The loud noise you hear after it is being fired is due to the shooter not using sub sonic ammo I believe. 45 ACP is a slow round but some loads are over 1000 ft per second.

  • Not a silencer - I can still hear it. Can't you? Yeah - it's a pet-peeve of mine. All together now - SUPPRESSOR. See? Easy!

  • @cptexas1

this argument cracks me up. The ATF seems to think they are "silencers", thats how they appear on all my form 4s and all the form 4s I've seen. It makes me wonder if people who argue this even own a suppressor/silencer.

  • @csf45 Yea but we all know the ATF is retarded so that's a bad example.

  • go to 21 to see a good example of a nelson piston (recoil booster)

    (45 is also good)

  • what a bad silencer

  • @ArcticWolves2011

It's doing exactly what it should be doing. What's so "bad" about it?

  • @Arcaenon not really

  • @ArcticWolves2011 My thoughts exactly

  • Would make a great "Ringtone"

  • @quickjazz55 :D i thinks so ;)

  • the ping noise is from a metal target isn't it ?

  • @Bode443 i thought its the slide noise, silencer body amplifying it..

  • how come i can hear it ?

  • For all you people calling it a suppressor. The first one ever made was called a silencer by Hiram Maxim. Why are you guys making it a big deal i have no idea.

  • Amen. Man. I fucking hate the kids at my school that do that. Think they know about guns.

  • Call of duty: Teaching losers all about guns since 2009. Go eat more hotpockets and play with your joysticks faggots, leave the men with guns alone...

  • Lol a lot of angry people commented on this. Nice video how much did the suppressor run you?

  • Really not that silenced, but still cool. 8D

  • Diner's ready

  • Meh, just looks cool. >.>

  • its still totally loud, listen to the echo, plus these silencers take away ur effective range

  • @randallschecter you don't get the point of the slow motion part? the gun is totally silent, the "echo" is the bullet hitting the metal. listen to it closely in slow motion again retard

  • @TeamTribe lol 0:00-0:21 is not slow motion genuis. watch it again einstein, and listen

  • @TeamTribe nvm i only watched the 1st part, it is silent, but why are they shooting metal to show off a silencer. and from the 1st 20 seconds only it does seem like the echo is from the gun, so shove it up ur ass, and go down the street calling ppl retards, see how long it takes u to get smashed.

  • @TeamTribe sorry to tell you this.... the echo is from the firearm. in slow motion you can clearly hear the echo before the round strikes the metal target. the slow mo shot at 20 and again at 29 the report comes before the "ping" of the metal target.

  • @randallschecter FUCK YOU you need sub sonic rounds for it to make the infamous COD sound. the bullet never touches the silencer so it does nothing to your range. the echo is the bullet breaking the sound barrier.

  • @frankthetank1191 well good for you numb nutts. silencers are retarded, ill stick with my ar 15 with a flash suppressor.

  • @randallschecter jealousy sucks huh

  • @randallschecter you do that.

  • its not a sliencer its a surperser if it was a sliencer you would not hear the gun at all

  • @XXXintervention wtf r u saying u fuck tard gameing kid

  • @XXXintervention Well.... Hiram Maxim, the man that invented the device, holds the patent for the "Maxim Silencer." So either that means you disagree with the inventor of the device on what it should be named, or you don't know what you're talking about.

  • Spit in a can!

  • great silencer, i cant hear a thing! O_O

  • Did anyone get the Add about buying an sr-71 blackbird aircraft for 1.2 million dollars?

  • do ppl realise that guns are hideously loud weapons? and that a silencer, as depicted in the movies or games, does no silence? you can still hear the damn thing from a fair distance. it just means you wont get deafenned.

  • @drillpill Yes you can make a gun very silent by using subsonic bullets + silencer (a good homemade one)

  • @01zack all 45's are subsonic, yet still hard to make quiet.

  • @Duckyistrippin Not all of them, the lighter weight 185 and 165 grain +P loads available are supersonic.

  • @forrest225 depends on elevation! ;) but who would shoot 165 or 185 out of a 45? besides those trying to make power factor for competitive shooting. sub or super sonic its the giant diameter that makes it a bitch to supress. which is the point that i was poorly trying to make :) most your 185gr hp defense loads are still sub 1000fps you really gotta work at it to get a 45 above 1100. so lets just say nearly all 45 ammo is subsonic, yet might be louder than you think with a suppressor.

  • @Duckyistrippin Yeah, I don't really see a use for the lighter loads, but for some reason they sell em'.

  • @forrest225 i think they sell them for all the limp wrists/whiny bitches/female duty officers that are issued 45 but piss and moan about the recoil. ironically enough a proper grip would all but eliminate the issue, and lighter faster loads actually make the muzzle flip MORE but the impulse is over sooner. am i the only one that thinks the 40sw is a bastardization of the best handgun caliber ever!!!? {10mm} its those same cry babies that got the 10mm canned and brought about the 40 slow and weak

  • @Duckyistrippin no you are not the only one. Every thing a .40sw can do a 10mm does BETTER. except not be heavy to carry around all day. That's why cops and the FBI carry them. The FBI did carry 10mm but flipped to .40's over the complaints of increased magazine and gun weight. wussies. My main carry/fave guns are all cin .45acp, 10mm or are pocket 32's.

  • @jagdtigerfukthis your right the cops and fbi DID carry them...until there bitch ass officers started failing quals left and right. Then they started making up bullshit rumors about the guns being unreliable yadda yadda yadda...i carry a 1911 cause its the bestest design ever, on this planet or any other! ok that and i just like it..but hey, when i get the money you can bet your butt ill be getting a 1911 built around the 10. High Caps are just unnecessary if you learn HOW TO HIT YOUR TARGET!

  • @Duckyistrippin I'd heard the complaints about miss-quals too but everybody knew it was from the heavier feel of the recoil of the 10mm. My main carry is what you see in the vid above an H&K .45 tactical. 13rounds is of .45 is plenty. My other main carry is a Glock20 in 10mm ,with mag extenders taking it to 17round 10 sweeet 10mm. I should mention I'm a big guy with big hands so both guns fit me very well.

  • @jagdtigerfukthis im a pretty big guy, but it seem i have short fingers, or possibly palms. double stack guns just dont give me that warm fuzzy. i love me some 1911 :) its just a preference thing, though it would be nice to carry more than 7rds at a time...then again if shit gets that thick, its time to pop open the trunk ;) Used to run with the G29, and my brother has the g20. Great guns, but i still like my old outdated turd just a hair more :)

  • @Duckyistrippin I don't carry them but I've a para ordinance P-14 limited edition stainless and an AMT Javelina in 10mm. I like my DA/SA for carry but I love that 14 round "1911" at the range. To tell the truth the trigger pulls a little too lite for carry, I've often set it off at the range before I was ready. :-/ I'm thinking of picking up one of the Tonfoglio/eaa witness in 10mm for another carry gun. I love the USP tac w/ the AAC tirant more than anything at the range!!

  • @jagdtigerfukthis i really want to try and give the witness a shot...but they are just soooo ugly. lol

  • @neodoc1976 No I think it's a P226.

  • @DrMrAnimePants Sig P226 is not made in 45ACP.

    It is an HK pistol

  • @stoots74 Oh fuck! I didn't read the title all the way. D:

  • Needs more cowbell.

  • @jackchanhero1 you sir, are funny.

  • @jackchanhero1 hahahahahahaahahahahahaahah

  • @jackchanhero1 FK YES!!!

  • como adquirir un silenciador para pistola 9mm

  • Sounds like the cowbell in the song "Don't fear the Reaper" by Blue Oyster Cult........

    0:15-0:20

  • more cowbell!!

  • i dont think hes using subsonic ammo

  • why do I still hear a "boom" doesnt he use subsonic rounds?

  • what are you shooting at a cowbell?!?!?!?!?!

  • toy gun its fake lmao jkjk dam awsome silencer

  • Yes, I belive what you do... If you wanna Comet Murder and Get away i Highly Reccomend

Quote; "Gettin' off of the Gun Buying, & Look more into Gardening"

[Why i say this is Cuse most Murders Cometed in the USA And Everyware elies are Used with Poisons such as Anti-Freeze and Deadly Plants, Heres a Few to look up: Nightshade (Deadly), Monkshood, Foxglove, & American Yew.]

Might take a While to Drop Som1 but it'll Get it done in time 4 u to Be as far As Possible

    I kno.

  • @Second2Rush Wow, your stupidity is astounding. I know first graders that spell better, much better. A comet is a body of ice and rock in orbit around the sun (although they certainly exist in other planetary systems). They, along with asteroids, are remnants from the formation of the solar system. Murder is something you commit. 'Cause' is the (unacceptable) shortening of 'because'. Few murders are committed with poisons, they're much too easy to detect and usually unreliable.

  • still loud.

  • @WhitePlumes All silencers can be heard for about a mile or so but can easily be covered by windy conditions. I never heard a silencer that actually makes that PEW PEW noise like in games.

  • @1john1992 I'm gonna call bull on that one. My Osprey is super duper quiet. Even more so with subsonic ammo. I just made a video showing how quiet it is. All you can hear is the slide, and the thud into the berm.

    z_Nm3yIgclE

  • @DallasfuckingTT "super duper quiet" sounds kinda childish to me

  • @frodo70444 Dearest Sir, the sound decibels of my SilencerCo Osprey are of the lowest values when comparing silencers/suppressors. One might compare it to the popular phrase "Hollywood quiet". I hope this fits your high standard of youtube comments.

    Good day

  • @DallasfuckingTT so do you know the decibel level off the top of your head? and what caliber are you shooting the average .45 is subsonic and of course you know why i ask or at least i hope you do

  • @frodo70444 I bought a .45 caliber Osprey , but it's for my .40 caliber USP tactical I bought the piston adapter for it. DRY it has an A weighted AVG of 129. DBs That's using 180g ammo which for me has ran subsonic. I don't feel DB tests measure the full range, as you can see in my video it's very quiet. Wet the A weighted Avg was 123db.

  • Wicked! More sound from the target than the round being fired.

  • Less than 120db dry? Can it be disassembled? Indexed? Sub-chambered to .40s&w or 9mm? I'd like something sub-120db dry for my usp45 tactical...

  • The sound of the bullet hitting the metal target is louder then the gun! rofl

  • Can a supresssor even be used on a colt 45 with the link barrel setup they have?

  • @digitalfuk You'd need a threaded barrel for a 1911 (or any other pistol) to mount a suppressor. AAC commissioned Nighthawk to build such a 1911. You could buy that or you could have a barrel custom made and then fitted by a gunsmith. I don't know much about suppressing 1911s, it's not a commonly suppressed pistol to begin with.

  • hard targets are dangerous. look up 50 cal ricochet and watch how close that guy comes to death!

  • @391001023 chill.

  • @391001023 their only dangerous if you dont have the the face of it slanted down. here is a visual of the correct way: \

    wrong way: |, >, ), (, /

the only exception to the second one is if their is a gap, not to big or small, at the end of the cone to let out the shrapnel..

  • it sounds like ping-pong game :D

  • im making the slo-mo shots my ringtone

  • Not that good of a silencer you can here the super sonic crack../.

  • @Bkstele There is no super-sonic crack. Ballistics of a .45 ACP in a short pistol barrel are @ about 800 fps. max. Must be 1050 + fps for supersonic.

  • @RollerCam well maybe its the target im hearing next time he shouldnt shoot at a metal target

  • Head to B site clik clik clik

  • You hold your gun weirdly..

  • silencer is the legal, codified term.

  • The silencer is a cowbell? Haha just kidding.

  • wow this kid calls me a redneck? hahaha fucking bitch go get a life and get off the pc

  • it really annoyes me when you type in a silenced weapon and it comes up with call of duty!!

  • @hellboyvshellgirl you shoud write suppressed weapon. silenced is a term used in video games, and it is wrong.

  • @filfoman actually, maxim patented his design under both names.

  • @purplecurtisimo he did? i didn't know that. But i was saying if you would type suppressed in youtube you will find way more videos of real firearms than you would of call of duty or other similar video games

  • @filfoman no it is not wrong you dumbass!! You can call it a silencer or suppressor they are legally known as silencers ask the atf and quit trying to be a smartass especially if your wrong!!

  • @ridah925 "Ask", and ye shall receive. They're known as "sound suppressors". "Silencer" is a colloquial term, used by many agencies so that the uninformed "common man" will know what they are making reference to. The legal term is "Sound suppressor" or "sound suppression device".

  • @TheProdigalAssault They can be called either one was my point who gives a crap!!

  • @filfoman The first silencer ever made was called a silencer not suppresser, but you can call it either one. know your facts before you say something stupid.

  • Its not a "Silencer" Its a Suppresor. For Muzzle Flash and Noise.I bet half of the people here that talked about it Play CoD...

  • @jeffhardyfanallway maxim patented the name Silencer originally not Suppressor.

  • SUPPRESSOR!!

Wouldn't a silencer make it say.. SILENT!?

  • @1701990 The ATF uses them interchangeably. But I do agree that suppressor is a better term.

  • @1701990 Kids today can search the web using their cell phones..You have access to the ATF's website 24 hours a day and still the semantics game? The ATF and people that own them call them silencers..Everyone else calls them suppressors..When the bullet impact is louder than the shot..Thats about as silent as you get..Hell you want to hear something going on..:)

  • cloche a vache xD

  • how do you get a silencer?

  • @psykoloc14 I'm fairly certain you need a license to buy one in the US....once you get that though, you just need to get shopping. Mind you, different rules apply for each state...

  • @prnkstr it's a tax stamp - and an approved ATF form 4

  • @psykoloc14 class 3 license, varies by state though. Check in with your state they will have rules and regulations and also the price. The process takes weeks to months if not longer.

  • New Generation Cow Bell !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • your making to much noise

  • What kind of pistol is that? And how much did it cost?

  • copado

  • Comment removed

  • One thing I'd like to see in more of these silenced weapons videos is not shooting at metalic targets, especially when you're trying to appreciate the lack of sound coming out of the gun. Implimenting that one element, would make a silenced weapon video more effective in terms of showing the viewer quietness.

  • @Theguy1015 But if you didn't hear the target -- you couldn't tell the gun was even fired! That's how silent it is.

    No, I hear you.

  • @Theguy1015 ya like wtf? lol

  • @Theguy1015 Silencers dont actualy eliminate the report they mufle it to a point where its safe for ears and make it hard to figure out where the shots come from. but i do agree

  • @Theguy1015 Why? Audio quality varies and hearing the TINK at the end of the range lets the viewer know that the round hitting the steel is louder than the report. I think it makes sense this way. Though, he should have used sub sonic ammunition. The report that we here on this one is the bullet breaking the sound barrier.

  • @obeyance .45 ACP ammo is already subsonic.

  • @Theguy1015 ya and subsonic ammo would be nice too

  • All standard .45 is subsonic. Average is bit over 800fps and up to about 925fps depending on other condition the speed of sound is between 1050 and 1100 fps. (air pressure, humidity ,altitude are all factors). This is why .45acp is such a perfect silenced round. The fact you don't know this simple universal concept about firearms should probably give you cause to review your statements. I own an AAC Ti-rant and usp45 tactical and that sounded loud to me too. Maybe it's cuz it's prototype.

  • @jagdtigerfukthis so from 22 sec on its slow motion it shows him fire the gun with a slight poping noise the primer and gun powder igniting 3 seconds later after the bullet has left the barrel "considering the shell has already left the gun" u hear a large bang witch would be the supersonic boom

  • @jwrightvw Even if there was a supersonic boom & there will NOT be with .45acp it occurs very close to the barrel or the silencer and it would BEAT the sound of the slide as it's delayed. The sound of the hammer falling is virtually nothing compared to the slide racking. notice how the video has no sound for that. I think the audios is off or modified/faked. the whole thing looks and sounds wrong. The main noise you hear on a silenced subsonic pistol is the post bullet exodus gas expulsion.

  • @jagdtigerfukthis i could go with that

  • @Theguy1015 exactly what i thought as soon as a saw this ;)

  • @Theguy1015 maybe they are just trying to prove its not an air pistol?

  • sorry , correction , needs more cowbell for headshots, LUL like it could get anymore

  • Cowbell?

  • Ive got a disease... and the only cure for it is more cowbell!

  • Thats a Damn usp silenced And a damn usp in counter strike source damnit

  • He's using sonic ammo. it would be a lot better if he used subsonic.

  • @TheSkipshot19 .45s are naturally subsonic. they move at around 950 fps

  • @TheSkipshot19 Nope he's using subsonic...REALLY hard to get a .45 over speed of sound (Approx 1090fps)

.230grn ball ammo runs at about 930-960fps 185's run at around 1050 max.

  • @TheSkipshot19

why would he purposely spend MORE money on high velocity 45 ammo to make his suppressed pistol LOUDER?

the are lots of reasons it SOUNDS loud on video.

the physical characteristics of the surroundings are optimal for reflecting those particular sound frequencies back, the camera is very close, some cameras microphones are more sensitive than others, some are more or less capable of reproducing certain frequencies and audio compression does strange things during rendering.

  • such a freaking stupid silencer test. Shooting a target that rings out like that is not going to show people how quiet the silencer is.

  • @LWRCftw i would disagree with that completely. if you can hear the plink of the metal target i think that shows how quiet it has made the report.

  • pistol- HK usp 45?

  • @neodoc1976 i was gonna say probably a smaller caliber round, because of recoil, but now that i look at it in slo-mo, i think, from the size of the casings, it is .45

  • @neodoc1976 yes its an usp 45.

  • @neodoc1976 looks like a sig to me.

  • @neodoc1976 Yep...that's the one.

  • @neodoc1976 YUP!

    love that gun.

  • @zillaracing7

    HK 23 Socom - hypersexual gun.Big and heavy-Terminator,RoboCop,Rambo and other ubermensch fap on him :) :) :)

    Brother of this device.

  • @neodoc1976 Yes

  • Americans are gay, they don't how to fight bear knuckles so they buy guns.

  • @louilenin You sir, are stupid.

  • @louilenin Fucking retard....

  • @louilenin We use guns so we can commence ranged combat and not get our precious hands all bashed up you fucktard.

  • @louilenin British woman jealous of my second amendment

  • @louilenin Hey stupid, The U.S.A produce the best MMA fighters in the world. So bring your sorry ass over here and say that so an American can kick your fucking ass.

  • @PickStar81 i think GSP would disagree! :P

  • @louilenin And this is coming from a French guy. your the biggest pussys in the world. How many world wars did we save your sorry ass from?

  • @soloboy23 ]I call bullshit on that one

  • hi

  • Is the crack sound the speed of sound being exceeded?
