Venus can be seen by the naked eye and its always there ?

i wounder how can we see it whereas 1- its closer to the sun so at night its suppose to be in the sun direction ( in the daytime of the earth ) 2 - it must some times in the year be in the other side of the sun ( sun b/w earth and Venus ) why its seen in every time in the year ??????????

like how we go in circles around the sun. The sun goes in circles around the center of the galaxy (black hole?).
