Artists like bob ross send a message, whether they realize it or not, that it is truelly beautiful, relaxing, peaceful, and why we should protect it, instead of throwing litter, coal sludge, poisons in streams as a "cheep" way to dispose.

nature is most beautiful when it is not being wrecked.

JCV0085 I would like to mellow my past remarks, i was as interested as anyone else in watching Bob paint, and he did have talent, but i think the most important thing he did was in getting ordinary Joe Public to have a go at painting, and yes i do agree with you that he had some deep philosphical meanings and i think he was a wonderful human being. What I should of said was that i think the technique is limited regardless of how much time is spent on the painting. Please accept my apologies

Yes, I have seen "real masterpieces", but don't forget that these pieces were constructed in the duration of a TV episode, 30 minutes. Not only this, but some of the things he said in his shows had deep philosophical meaning. It's people with this mindset that should be our world leaders.
