i don't think thandeka realizes what she is saying. she seems to be outlining a natural theology and can't stop herself from preaching. instead of discussing schleiermacher she is promoting his thought. she seems to be giving a sermon. schleiermacher, in her mind, is taken away from kant. she is totality misrepresenting the wetern tradition of theology especially the neoplatonists. she is full of hot air. she is full of it, the platonic tradition is much stronger a root. and buddhism in the east
