  • Wow man, i just stumbled upon this when looking for a song but...

Im really sorry about what happened to your partner. I cant imagine going through something like that. As a straight man myself, i find your struggle, of course, entirley righteous and just. The forces of ignorance can be difficult to fight, but its a fight that has to be fought.

Thanks to people like you, a day when all sexualitys are accepted in your nation will come. Have strength.

  • It is people like you that are going to change this world into a better place.

    It really is.

My heart goes out to you.

  • Get the word up man, Props too ya for doing this.

  • that just stings me, this country is so fucked up and i dont know if it will ever get better.

  • My heart goes out to you Richard. 8 years ago I also had my long term partner die and I felt the sting of having my relationship discounted and ignored by his family. Change happens slowly but it is inevitable.

  • First, my heart is with you. I was with you then two years ago as well.

Second, this is what I was trying to talk about on your show the other day with Bicycle Mark. But I couldn't type fast enough.

    It will never change.

    Vera

  • I'll have you on the show by yourself next week if you want.

  • Heartbreaking.

  • Its so hard to watch you shaking as you're holding that paper, such an incredibly raw video and I share your rage... I truly cannot comprehend how anyone could be against equal rights, the heartless right wing really have no idea about the long-lasting consequences of their hatred.

  • Wow...a very powerful message, and couldn't agree more with the statement. As long as my own country continues to treat me as less than a human being, like you said, I will continue to be forced to live out my life as an exile. My partner is Thai, and since our relationship isn't legally recognized I must pick love or home. Thank you so much for sharing this, as it really made me think.

  • I remember this month, that year, those days. and it puts me right back somewhere between sadness and anger.

  • Richard words can't express how I feel about this video and how we as members of the GLBT community need to continue to speak out and I know things will change! Thank you for doing this amazing and touching video!
