why not PROVINCIAL independence. Each province must control all of their resources and responsible for the development in their own province. Only defense and currency should common between all province. JUST like in the ERA of Hazrat UMER (RA).

My uncle served in Balochistan Univertiy for twenty years and he left his house to serve the Balochi youth and in the end We got his dead body and Baloch nationalists like him leave a letter that he is Prosecuted and killed because he is a Punjabi Professor. We have to decide : if we want a trans-national ideological State basen upon religion, and then Baloch have all their sovereignty as Pakistan citizens, or if we want to continue or 'Punjabiesque' policy of pressurizing other ethnicities. Baloch has seen lot of atrocities. They have suffered a lot. Their territory was captured by force and voices of displeasure were silenced by force. Their people have been killed mercilessly, tortured to death. Sad picture. They deserve better life.
I would like to add that of all the princely states and territories in what is now Balochistan, (Las Bela, Kalat, Kharan, Makran, and the province of Balochistan) it was only Kalat that objected to join Pakistan and instead preferred independence.
Bad move I have to say as people always think Kalat and Balochistan are the same entities. I object to that.
But...that said, I am not surprised that there is significant demand for Baloch independence and its growing stronger.
