I think it's because when other's learn english in other countries they learn British english and probably pick up on that accent...the same way we tend to learn Spanish as it's spoken in Spain, as opposed to Argentina or Mexico. Or the way that everyone learns the German spoken in Germany, but not the dialects in Austria or Switzerland...sorry to sound "lecture-y" just thought about it...

I came out to my folks on Christmas Eve. haha, hadn't intended to, but thats what happens when you visit on Christmas. I wasnt going to tell them that George was just a friend in my own house.
