just bought them, pretty much everything is shaking in my room... my desk lamp tried to "run away" few minutes ago, when i put it on 9/10 bass and 3/4 volume...

friend of mine had these last year, he bought z 5500, but i kinda like these more so i bought them myself...

i mean Z 5500 is even crazier but 5.1 is not what i want now...

currently on 3/4 bass and 1/4 volume, and it's pretty nice, i cant wait to get some x-fi audio card and improve it even more...

for now i say they are awesome...

Your time/money is better spend looking for better quality audio tracks. Im sure most people in here with videos and what not of their computer speakers are playing MP3's which are known for being awful quality when under 320K. Try ripping a song off a CD into mp3 at 128 or 192 and then compare it to the track on the original cd (not a burnt cd either) and you will get an idea of what i mean.

They sound pretty ordinary, the mids and highs are not defined and the sub-bass dosn't go low and isn't very clear. The mid-bass isn't to bad it hits you in the chest but not overly loud.

I run two 12" pioneer premiers with a 1.2k car amp for subs, and a 600 watt amp with home theater speakers for mids/highs.

I sold the z2300 to one of my good friends. However, I will tell you, it was great while it lasted, and its definitely the BEST pre made speaker set with a bangin sub that you can find, intended for a pc, without buying car amps and stuff.

Not ment like that, but if you have been installing for 6 years you should know that a 10 000 watt sub demands alomst a 10 000 watt amplifier, and the 120w sub requires 120w, so the chances of blow is almost the same, i would say... :)
