  • rattle snakes dont live near water that's a water moccasin

  • @iloveemochicks123 Not true at all, completely false. Rattlesnakes DO live near water, right on a river or lake. I have even seen a rattlesnake swimming through a river on two occasions. The wetsern desert rivers are loaded with rattlers in both the riparian and upland areas.

  • that's a rattler isn't it

  • Not a water snake. It is a very large western terrestrial garter snake. (Thamnophis elegans)

  • Interesting footage.

  • ive been down the salt river 2wice

  • Ive seen these before on the wind river I think it was.. you gotta watch the fish you have on your stringer! One made off with several of my fish!!!

  • is that snake poisonous?

  • hmph, no.

  • salt in az?

  • Western Wyoming. It drains into the Snake River which then makes its way into Idaho.
