hey i downloaded the demo for guitar pro 5 how do i use it to get the backing track??

put the guitars in mute in gp5 and play over it record using a mic.. another way its, export the midi files from gp5 to your pc, and paste all the midi files to your music software pro tools, logic pro, cubase, soundforge ... and record directly to the software using the midi backing tracks all in separatly chanels! the 2 way gives u a pro sound... sorry 4 my inglish dude! sucks

hey bro, well. first practice the major and the minor chords, then learn the scales, remember this tip, if you listen a song in C major u can use the C major scale or  A minor scales , if u listen a song in D major use D major Scale or B minor scales always use six notes more in minor... u can sound happy with the major scales and sad with the minor scales... learn the pentatonic scale for rock, and the natural scale,if u like yngwie learn the armonic scale... sorry 4 my inglish dude, sucks!
