Dude you have got this app all wrong! It's and extension of the xplane flight sim on pc, it is designed to be used for IFR flight ( the reason they spent months buildings fully functional instrument panel with heading bug). Also, your take off procedure was completely wrong! You need to set a heading, the set your flaps to about 20% for this aircraft, then advance the throttle, then let the brakes off. Your v1 rotate should be at about 250 IAS.

Sweet video, i will be so happy when the 2nd gen ipad comes out cause the ipod xplane version sucks compared to ipad... Only thing i hate about the xplane app is that when you zoom out on the extetnal cam, go to the cockpit, then go to the external cam, the camera is all zoomed in, otherwise, it looks unbieveable compared to the ipod version

@2609yannick yeah you can with the scram jet (te one attached to the bigger plane) but once you get there earth dissapears and you run out of gas, then magiccally you fall back to earth in like a minute

Nice review. It's called "altitude," not "how high you are." Every aircraft you demoed is a "jet" except the Space Shuttle. That thing in the middle of the shuttle is the external fuel tank.

It's a really great app. I don't think of it as a "game," though. It's more like a training aid.

For a kid it was a pretty good review, unfortunately i see you have no pre-knowledge of flight. Quick tip: flaps go to 50% for take off or you'll smash your tail
