@yaesukita it depends on the state. Some states require that the other person be notified of the taping, while others don't. I'm not sure what state they're from. I think it's a misdemeanor at best anyway. And when you're dealing with crazy ex's, it's probably worth it to protect yourself regardless of the consequences. (btw, i'm not a lawyer)

Visitation judgements are usually very specific ie every 1st and 3rd weekend of the month. If it was his weekend to have the kids, all he had to do was call the cops, show them the judges order and say she won't let him have the kids. They would follow him to her house and make her give the kids to him. When a visitation order is signed by a judge it is a legal issue now and the cops will comply with that order. They had a misunderstanding about the party weekend. He got permission for the weekend but probably didn't have a understanding with her for the next weekend. Had he said,"but then next weekend I get them as well because it is my normal weekend" she probably wouldn't have allowed the party weekend. What these people are doing are hurting the kids first. IF they love their kids they would stop this. The adults move on by the kids are scared forever. So immature and selfish.

Arguing whether she should have stayed in shape is ridiculous. Divorce is far more complex. He says she cheated, but leaves out everything that led up to it. She says he made a hurtful comment during marriage counseling, but leaves out everything else they explored. It's not about her fat ass or his hunting. The deeper issues must be addressed before these two will be successful in marriage again. To those of you saying she should have just kept in shape: Don't get married until you grow up.

@zion653 NO NO NO NO NO. Atrraction and love are not separate compartments. If I love someone, truly love them, then things like how they look or speak or what they wear just don't matter. They are just small and petty and insignificant next to how much I want to be with the person and how much I value having them in my life. That is what love does, and if a marriage counselor ever told me to lose weight to save my marriage, I wouldn't leave my husband. I'd leave the counselor.

@bboots100 -- I'm sorry, but I'm calling B.S. If, let's say, my boyfriend suddenly started to gain mass amounts of weight and despite my attempts to get him to stop/lose the weight kept gaining it, I would seriously consider leaving him. It means they no longer care about how they look to you, they have given up on their health, and more importantly, on you. If they can't keep themselves healthy, why keep a healthy relationship? Not talking a little weight, talking a LOT.
