AMD is comparing their current MOBILITY chipset to INTELS current MOBILITY chipset. As you can see, AMD wins. That is the point of the test. Both laptops on here are using default manufacturing OS's that come preloaded with software, this shows that AMDs can still beat intel with all the preloaded software. Just face it, im right, your wrong.

I don't know if you are joking but you are wrong. The PC on the right, the one with the lower CPU usage has the Catalyst drivers loaded, you can see the red ATI icon next to the time. To anyone else, this means the Intel notebook is on the left and the AMD one is on the right.

The HD3200 is doing most of the work for the AMD laptop, thus low cpu usage. Intel's P8400 has to pick up the slack from their crappy 4500HD.

Actually Run, this AMD ATi solution = 3200HD mobile is a hybrid solution. Off AC its imbedded and shared mem. On AC, or manually set in OS, its dedicated GPU + Dedicated mem + Shared mem. I'm looking for the Turion X2 Ultra + Mobility Radeon HD 3800 solution in a TabletPC.

pfft i made a custom machine and did some program creation it is single core but i only made the processor give data to the gpu while the gpu does all the work not the cpu and the cpu power was letting around 5% single core amd athlon 64 2ghz dunno if anyone can beat that stop with the cpu power videos also this was 1080p not the lower ones its full for mine and it worked no lags

No you can also use the Turion notebook or RM QL buy whatever version with the slower ATI graphics equipped. Then you have in fact one of the fastest notebook CPU and there is also a Excellent battery time.

AMD is making the CPU market competitive. We dont want Intel to gain a monopoly status. Otherwise say good-bye to cheap PCs, and new ideas. Consumers need to consider that when deciding to buy AMD or Intel. Remember AMD is still competitive !! It needs more R&D money.

@buni27, What is not true? ATI graphic chips and chipsets are designed and produced by ATI division which is part of amd, go to amd wbsite and take a look at the products. ATI is a brand from AMD.
