@19iskandar98 kinda, i didnt really like this board though so i dont recommend it. maybe if i had chopped out the back so it was flat and added w to it. i just picked up a lacey though and i really like it. 8 ply so its super light racecave flat back, and i drilled it to a 29 and 27 inch wheelbase. still no bite with randal 50s are raceforms
@chubeviewer Bearing spacers and washers allow you to tighten the axle nut down snug with out pinching the bearings (without spacers when you tighten it down the wheel does not spin freely). A lot of times the noise created by "slop" is blamed on the wheels. Once you eliminate slop transitions in and out of slides will be so much smoother.
- Sub and comment for any other questions or tips on setting up your board. I would be glad to help!
@willyforeally oh so it stops the bearings from scrubbing against the wheel, by making the spacer hold onto the smaller ring on the bearings. also speed rings (small washers) do this by stopping the nut from rubbing against the bearing i think.
@rmyfullon shape...? i didnt like the concave at all on this board. its super mellow and sluggish. so no, i dont reccommend it for sliding and stuff. also durians are realllly bad untill you get them small.
@ghostface185 dont buy from zumies! dont buy longboards from them cause you'll look like a tool walking out of the mall with a sector 9. if you want a board check out motion boardshop, longboard skater, muir skate, or other online longboard shops!
@monkieboi88 I asked to get an answer, not for you to judge me?
I've ridden longboard for many years and i'm a experienced rider, i'm not an experienced gearshopper. So if you just could answer my question i'd be really glad...
@jagbem sorry for being a smart ass. its the morning and my phones going off with emails so im grumpy. i personally dont like the BR so i reccomend getting something else like a jet vulcan or raptor or a comet greaseshark, but if your set on it... i have 42 degree plates on and idk how low kahas are but i THINK you'll be good
DUDE! tighten ur hardware so you dont kill yourself! at 1:59 you can see a good sized space between the deck and plate.... like straight through. Good review though ill be running the same setup but with crappier wheels and higher duro bushings
Earthwing stopped production of the really cool black gloss because the wheel wells weren't that good. they had a big problem with wheel bite. so they revamped the colors with new wheel wells. i still want the black though :( lol
@ckruberducky earthwing never made any revision to the BR, except for a stained finish. the wheel wells are as functional now as they were with the first run of BR's. the first run also had a matte black finish.
also, greater leverage over your front truck won't give you a major boost in traction, but it will give you more directional turning in the front. grip in the back is what's key for cornering. split baseplate angles will compensate for any potential loss of leverage over the rear truck
its 37.5" bro not 38"

you can hear wheel slop at 1:47 get some bearing spacers (8mmx10mm) and washers. $5 can make a world of difference
