Billy, KABC Los Angeles didn't start playing the News Series 2000 version until 1990 (due to having the Cool Hand Luke song for 21 years from 1969 until 1990).

Big time nostalgia hearing this. Many stations used this song, but ch 13 was the only one that I know of that played this version.
