Use of hair gel is a character defect unless your a girl. I've no doubt that female HG pilots are still atractive if not more so without hair gel but they could be at risk [H&S] if not wearing somthing to keep hairs out of their eyes!
Yeh, for your first flights you will be pushed off a cliff in a remote control hang glider. If you turn up wearing hair gel or colour clean co-ordinated clothing you are shuffled into the paraglider student room. To learn hang gliding you must have some form character defects :-)
