I love Noir because it has absolutely no magical elements in it like other animes. It could actually work as a movie or TV show. And the characters are pretty realistic and the girls don't act like kawaiiii wacko sluts. Too bad the American TV remake they're now working on is adding loads of male American actors for Mireille to fuck.

@Kanuskiz coppelia is a tragic/comic ballet play written on 1870, based on the novel die puppe (the doll) by e.t. hoffman. the character "coppelia" is a dancing automata doll, constructed by the inventor "doctor corppélius", who might or might not be crazy. soo you see, a "copellia" is a puppet, an mechanic marionette wich is soo lifelike that anyone would believe it´s a real person. i think the metaphor fits very well on the idea of the "noir legend"..specially kirika herself.

Maybe you are right though, but I'm pretty sure those look like Minor Arcana Tarot cards. The tarot originated in Italy anyway, and there they were used for card games rather then fortune telling. i did wonder how they would play with tarot cards, but our suits of playing cards all originated from the Minor arcana, so playing poker with them doesn't seem that unusual after all.

Well, maybe we´re both right, beacuse that suits, as you say, are from Minor Arcana deck, but these are in spanish Baraja (Spanish name for deck).

Oh, and the cards suits are: Ace of Cups(As de copas), Ace of Golds(As de oros) and Ace and Three of Swords. I´m afraid we failed guessing the cards xDDD
