I'm in panic. I can't understand how to delete the 1/2 of cube. I can delete only 1/4 of cube.

Also I can't understand why the "man" has volume only of the head and body. Arms and legs look like planes, don't have volume.

How to flatten?

@angusd77 -To flatten an object hit 'S" or scale on desired axis X,Y,Z. Then just just 'left click' on mouse when you have the right scaling.

blender 2.50 is so different from the other blender :( i feel like a noob again

the legs only went straight down unless I hit the 'g' key to put them to the side. [using trackpad on macbook pro, and mmb/alt key didnt work to 'free' it in this situation]
