@aidan456456 I won't hold back any argument against Halo's gameplay or character development, but the soundtrack was undeniably good. So shut your fucking hole.
i found this soundtrack. it was so good that i buyed the game and played it just because of the soundtrack. and i have to say... IT'S A FUCKING MASTERPIECE
This was the only game that terrified me with atmosphere, and yet somehow I forced myself to play it, id usually hide in a corner until the music picks up then I'd run out guns or wrench blazing!
@2HornDogs yeah i know what you mean, it was so terrifying and stressfull, nearly had a heart attack sometimes. but this game was so good that i HAD to keep going. but it wasnt a game i could play for long periods of time because the stress would get to me.
I'm.. i'm getting.. strange.. something is ... my body is still changing.. whats going on..? it hurts sometime but.. AAAaargh ! I'm going to say "GLORY OF THE MANY!"
The level were you meet the midwifes first. They scared me like hell back in 2000 and they still scared me like hell when I played this a month ago. Damn.
Looking Glass also developed Terranova and thief, again games which later on inspired other titles. Much of halos ideas came from terranova. As a side note I never had any problems running this one on XP..

Actully this inspired many games includding halo and Half Life ..system shock 1 came out on the 486/dx based pc's long before anything else and was considered very ahead of its time with the 3d enviroment and gameplay. A friend of mine was on the programming team for looking glass when they developed this one.

But there is hope that the game will be released on a website called Good Old Games.
They sell underrated and classic games for 5.99 and 9.99 dollars, and right now System Shock 2 is at the top of the list of games the people want to have on the website.
The people at GOG make the games compatible with Windows XP and Vista, so if System Shock 2 is released on GOG, then a new generation of gamers can enjoy a classic. :)
@Karekristensson I don´t want GOG to just release System Shock 2 i want them to release all Looking Glass studio´s games plus every single one of Origin´s games.
@Karekristensson ye but there are so many companies tied to the system shock licence which makes it impossible to re-release it, especially without any DRM on GOG. EA originally published it, irrational developed it but used the dark engine which was developed by looking glass, which went bust so all their assets now belong to Eidos, which merged with Square-Enix. Anyways thx for the upload :)
SHODAN may be crazy and can barely complete sentence without repeating herself several times in different tones as well as being a bitch at the same time, but she sure can techno! XD
Ugh I remember the hydroponics secter... Midwives everywhere.. which in my opinion were one of the scariest in that game... Hell most current gen games could ever scare me like SS2 could
Perfect kind of tune for System Shock. The shift in the music sorta reminds me of SHODAN's faulty talking (lol) which makes it electronic, artificial, intelligent and undescribable in any other form
I have the soundtrack. The soundtrack alone makes me want to buy the game. It looks very cyberpunk is there any games you'd consider dystopian or post-apopytalptic.
Apocalyptic? lol : BioShock You Are Empty STALKER Fallout The Suffering (more demonic horror) I am Alive Half Life (more sci-fi though) Silent Hill (more demonic horror) Legendary (ancient style) and manymanymanymanymanymany more

Not possible.
System Shock 2 came out in 1999, way before Halo.

because SystemShock 2 is more engaging, and I think in deux ex theres kinda heaps of dialog, stopping the gameplay
