A-mazing to see Pete working live.

  • @TheRojotoro Ha Nice! They have a good parent =)

  • Pete Rock or Premo? A debate that can, and probably will, last forever.

  • @dewizle : No debate that can when it's about genius

  • I was stationed in Kentucky when this came out. I was the only real Head in my unit with a bunch of Southern cats. They was cool, but their idea of what hip hop was did nothing for me. I used to keep the headphones popping and then cats didn't get it. Real Hip Hop.

  • the crisp hi hat...pure hiphop

  • You'll never succeed or progress, searchin for peace through material objects, you go to extremes in the process accuse others when it's you showin ya true colors.....

  • BK, When U say we....it confuses me! U were our tour DJ.....not a contibuting member to the group. I am confused by that comment. Please help me overstand and receive clarity from your statement. Peace, Grap PS: That was what brought problems to our situation...No one wanting to play THEIR position. But, We live and we learn.....Big Up to JAH!!

  • @GrapLuvaMr7 wow boodakhan

  • glad BBE released this album, with pete's consent or not hip-hop needed this album

  • When we did this video we knew it was good, because we didn't exploit women shaking their asses. But this song wasn't the Groups choice to release as a single. It was the lable. Big Shouts to Jah-T, I-Love, Polo, Grap, & Rob-O. Selah!!

  • @Boodakhan1 so what was the single supposed to be

  • black culture

  • @iosonoparucca

Im pretty white and bumpin this shit since years. I still fucking love it tho...

  • Real Recognize Real, Fake Jax don't recognize real hip hop. The drums are sooo... indescribable!

  • why am i wanting to hang out with these dudes? lol they seem so laid back...

  • You'll never succeed in progress searchin' for peace through material objects. Classic beat classic lyrics.

  • Its tracks like this that make me feel hip hop has just lost its way today. The mid 90's was when hip hop it was on top of its game. There is some stuff that still comes out but you really got to dig for it. Back in the day it was front and center. I understand that the music changes with time times and that's cool I just hope that people like Pete Rock aren't forgotten. No matter where the music goes this will always be hip hop!!!!!

  • Conscious rap.

  • The intro is off the fuckin scale!!

The whole song is straight high grade.

  • i miss the good old time, this is hiphop.

  • real hip hoppppppppp

  • one of the greatest track ever!!!!

young fake ass gucci mane lovers,i suggest u should listen some pete rock, ini, roots,dj premier instead of garbage shit......

  • busy selling your dreams, but all your cream, contributes to your lack of self esteem.

  • 1:14 to 1:15 did he mess up on the track, jedax?? jedi? someone laughs on the record

  • Nah man, he was just throwin some slang on it. Sorta like Das EFX and how they would throw a digity on some words. just adds some flava.

  • One of the sickest beats of all timez!!!!!

  • Ya, I remember when I heard this song for the first time.... reminds me of Autumn, I don't know why.

  • @Jumper10100 So true! Feel so relaxed when listening to it... - DOPE!!!

  • before the shiny suits took over

  • This is perfect, I could cry while listening to this.. I miss those years

  • Me...been loving hip hop since I was six years old in '78. It's great to see cats still loving when you had to have talent to get on. this joint is definitely a lost classic...

  • yes yess

  • used a lot of samples but the drum pattern he flip it wickedly,Impeach the President-Honey Drippers

  • Dorothy Ashby - cause i need it
